Pre-shave Soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Merkur 23C
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
    Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Cream: Ingram (I should be using this more often)
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Proraso Splash

I decided that I needed a small blast of menthol this morning as an antidote to the winter blahs. It was an excellent, refreshing shave and now I'm eager for another snowfall so that I can enjoy shoveling it. Just kidding about the snow shoveling, but it was a great shave!

Doing just creams this week. So far, so good. I think I still prefer the ritual involved with using a puck of soap.

My friends, I have a great news... I just lost my virginity :happy108 I shaved with a Feather :happy108

My God, that is sharp. I thought the Voskhods were sharp but the Feathers are in a different class of their own. This was the closest and the most comfortable shave I ever had... I'm in love :love029 Even my difficult spots were almost gone from the ATG pass.

Let's see now how many shaves a blade lasts... if the average is 3-4 shaves it will be good for 2 shaves for me... but I may be wrong, time will tell.

Anyway, I'm not giving up on trying other blades nor the Voskhods (for me, my 100 blades stash seemed a lot, but when I saw Jeff's 1600 Voskhods...:1respect)

    The "equipment":

    Amway Tolsom face cleansing foam
    D'amaris royal
    Slim@5 with Feather
    Amway Tolsom tonic
    Amway Hymm ASB

Absolute and total BBS (if there isn't a 6 blades shave I'll have to create it) :happy108

What would be the next sharp blade after the Feathers?

Bravo, my friend! :1respect:1respect:1respect If I would try to shave again with a Feather, my face would be in pieces, or it would be a big mess in spite of my hard beard. The Voskhods are sharper than sharp enough for me, and they work great!

Yesterday I revisited the Ming-Shi TTO/Perma-Sharp Super combo...After 3 passes of totally irritation free shaving, the impulse to look and see if there is a blade in the razor type shave...I received a very nice DFS. I think one-more pass would have brought it up to BBS, but it was a judgement call and I demured, as the DFS was more than acceptable.

Todays Schick Injector/CVS-Personna shave, was in 2 passes with a little Skin-Streching and razor buffing probably better than any Barber-Shop shave I've ever gotten (although, I miss the fire in the ears.:)...And was a ton of fun...Now I just have to try and keep my hands off my face in public today...:)

    Thursday:

    Omega Wooden Handle

    Versace L'homme EDT

Today, I took an imaginary trip to Bulgaria with my shave--it's been a long time since I've used this Top Ten Menthol cream. The scent is very nice, the lather is extremely rich and easy to create, and the skincare is good. The cooling effect is very light, but the Max Refreshing aftershave magnifies it very well. ;) :D
