Today's shave: a three-pass shave plus some minor touch-up work after the third pass.

Prep – warm shower followed by an application of homemade PSO (three parts olive oil to one part castor oil)
Soap – VDH Deluxe with a few drops of glycerine added to it
Brush – Omega63171 badger hair brush
Razor – 1959 Gillette Ball Tech
Blade – Wilkinson Sword Classic
Post Shave – Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. TODAY WAS MY FIRST SHAVE WITH THE RR JAWS OC. IT'S VERY NICELY MADE AT LEAST ON PAR WITH MY MERKUR 15C BUT THAT'S WHERE THE SIMILARITY ENDS. THIS HEAD SPORTS A NOTICEABLE AMOUNT OF BLADE EXPOSURE. AFTER MY THIRD OR FOURTH SWIPE I HAD FOUND THE ANGLE AND IT WAS SURPRISINGLY SMOOTH SAILING FROM THERE ON. IT IS VERY EFFICIENT, SO ON THE SECOND PASS I ADJUSTED ANGLES FOR MY FACE AND WAS BBS BY THE TIME I WAS DONE. IN THE INTEREST OF THOROUGHNESS AND THE CONTINUED ENJOYMENT OF MY ROUTE 66 LUMBERJACK WHICH I SO DEARLY LOVE I COMPLETED A THIRD PASS FOR AN ULTRA BBS! I'M ALSO VERY HAPPY TO REPORT NO BLADE ALIGNMENT TROUBLES, I DO BELIEVE THIS WAS ADDRESSED WITH THIS NEW VERSION OF THE JAWS. I LOVE THIS RAZOR ALREADY. HAVE A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY FRIENDS.

My shave was almost the same as yesterday except for the brush and A/S.
The Williams lathered up real nice with the E-Shave brush.
The Super Speed Blue Blade combo made quick work of my whiskers.
All topped off with Pacific Rush A/ S made for a BBS shave today!!

HAVE A GREAT GROUND HOG DAY EVERYONE!!!

 

Decent shave
This shave felt smooth and easy while it happened, but the rinse revealed a few weepers. I used less PSO, so perhaps that was the cause... It's hard to know just how much to put on. The lather was thick and seemed protective as whipped up by my Brothers Bristles Bimetal Brush with 22mm Maggard synthetic knot. I like the scent of the soap - a non-citrus fruit note with a woody cedar note. There is more going on that I'll try to figure out later.
