Did my normal three pass shave this morning with excellent results ended up with a little nick on my neck, guess I got a little over confident!
The styptic pencil took care of the nick first time in awhile I had to use it,so all in all a great shave with a darn close to a BBS finish!!:happy088:

Primo, thanks for sharing your craft and passion with us! Congratulations on a successful production. My Bride and I have season tickets to The Broadway Series. We may need to expand our horizons a bit to include some Opera.

Good morning guys. Bowl loaded and face lathered Stirling's Ozark Mountain this morning. These soaps really produce some monstrous lather guys, top notch stuff. Loving Maggard's V3A CC head on the MR5 handle, just pure control. For anyone here that could use an efficient head for their rotation, I strongly recommend this one, aside from the stellar performance, the gunmetal finish is just gorgeous. Three pass BBS. Stirling Mita balm always provides a lovely finish. Have a great shave and a great Sunday friends. :)

Less WH, more rum and vodka. I can't really tell the lime as well, but I could when it was "brewing".

Because of this extra "zing" from the alcohol, I'm afraid to use the 96% instead of the regular 40% vodka....

Mastro Livi "Rasoio Italiano" Stainless Damascus, 8/8 Full Hollow, Spanish Point

It was quite a long time I was not using this Mastro Livi stainless steel Damascus. It has a very special blade because it is made of genuine artisan made stainless steel Damascus, entirely made by Mastro Livi in his laboratory. He used martensitic stainless steels only, therefore this Damascus can be tempered and used for making a cutting edge. And what a cutting edge, I would add! It gives a smooth and close shave with a somewhat aggressive touch, however very comfortable. Scales are very particular, too. It has a double Italian flag - made of jade, white turquoise and coral - with a middle plate made of fossil mammoth ivory. That's why this razor is called "Rasoio Italiano" (Italian Razor) because it is entirely made in Italy, including the martensitic stainless steel Damascus!
