This was a superb shave with a superb razor. This one never fails to satisfy. I finished off with a nice bay rum aftershave - set up for the day!!
The soap 'De Vergulde Hand' is under $2 a pot and it is superb. I recommend it to anyone - for the price it is unbeatable.

I had another three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely. My dear friend Mohamed in Durban, South Africa sure knows his soaps. His Chapmunk which I used today smells so delightful - a lovely blend of spearmint and chamomile, its lather is a pleasure to work up and it leaves the skin feeling great. The Nip Man balm is a wonderful product. Do I feel like a new man!

    Cheers!

I do it from the puck with the brush-I guess I'm a little stumped on face&bowl lathering, that is...which is which.

I used every VY product I own, with great results. Ylang-ylang is one of my favorite scents - I love the freshness of it. Clarity has some of that and it pairs well with the balm, which adds some citrusy Yuzu. Both are good to my skin.

    Rating: 4.5 / 5

    Razor: Merkur Vision
    Blade: Personna Platinum
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
    Lather: Van Yulay Clarity
    Aftershave: Van Yulay Ylang-Zu Balm
    Additional Care:

What a stunning brush! I had never heard of this company before. Now I want one of each of their unique brushes! What do you think of the knot?

I like the knot a lot. I just wish it was set a bit lower for my taste.

Thank you sir! On my next month list. After no-buy 2017 I’ve gone a bit nuts this month! I’ve spent about $400, and the month isn’t over!
