Today's shave was with a Newly Acquired, Restored, and Honed razor. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, like a hot knife through butter, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. This razor takes a very sharp and soft feeling edge, when finished on Welsh Slate Stones, and an Arkansas Surgical Black.

Razor- Wm Elliot & Co. Germany
Brush- JR#262 . Birdseye Maple/Ebony wood. WD Silvertip Badger knot.
Soap- Eton College, by Taylor of Old Bond Street.
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Triple Crown Decanter My second favorite, behind Shulton Old Spice

Been Off the Grid for a While Moving to Glasgow..I Had a Wonderful Shave Today with My Freshly Honed Classic Gold Dollar 6/8th..I Feel that I Can Do No Wrong with this Razor..She Sports Mahogany Scales & One Keen Surgical Edge Finished on My 17 K Escher Thurii..& a Very Smooth & Forgiving Shaver..My Skin is as Polished as a Pair of Guardsman's Drill Boots..Shiny & Shiny..

Out Shaves the Current Dovo that Gold Dollar Copied this from in My Books & a Doddle to Hone..Its a Keeper for Sure..Might Get Another One with Red Acrylic Scales..

I Am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..

That's my Avon "Deep Woods" quail decanter. Picked that up a GoodWill for a buck. Some of these vintage Avon aftershave and colognes smell better now that when they were new.
