Paul, although it is a wicked awesome song, it’s not on this album unfortunately...

Well, that's odd. But that's the way my music ear is...my favorite Jim Croce song is Thursday, and I bet that baby isn't on a Favorite Hits album. What a talent HE was. :-(

In your defense Paul, I think there were follow up greatest hits albums after this one. Jim Croce is a brilliant musician as well!

Today's shave was with a newly Acquired, Restored, and Honed razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, without touch-ups. Zero issues, and a finely made razor. The Taylor of Old Bond Street was a fantastic soap. Great lather, great slickness. Thanks @Sparrow .

    Razor- J.A.Henckels, Twinsworks. Solingen Germany.
Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar. 12 hairs shed. I don't think I will be putting up with the shedding much longer.
Soap- Taylor of Old Bond Street. Cedarwood.
    Aftershave- Pinaud Lime Sec

Thank you. ELO has such an obvious influence from The Beatles.

Simply amazing, Matt! Love the colors! Can you tell me about the scent of the soap and aftershave?

Honeyed Coffee. Absolutely lovely. If you've every experienced PAA's "Spring-Heeled Jack", this is essentially that with a honey note.

Thank you! I'm not familiar with "Spring-Heeled Jack". I'd like to get a coffee scented soap. I picked up A&E Cafe au Lait and I really don't get coffee. Smells more like a sweet cocoa to my nose.

If you're looking for a singular coffee note, it's apparently difficult to obtain without the scent being transformed by the soap medium. Spring-Heeled Jack executed it rather well. I'm sure PAA will bring it back some day, but Storybook Soapworks' "Coffee Spoons" did it a bit better (and it's currently in stock). Also, Van Yulay's "Espresso" is a very accurate singular roasted coffee fragrance.

Thanks! I'll check those out. I may still get the PAA offering, it sounds nice.

Back to what I know with the GC .84, blade experimentation with the Maggard V2 OC and 1 pass attempts ATG making for bit of irritation, ample time for a second pass. Also, first go with LNHC, while a rose junkie of sorts, I found this scent to be an unusual rose, I wouldn't call it spiced, perhaps a bit overly complex; this aside, great lathering and slick soap, also the sample of the balm performed quite well. While mixed on this scent, I also picked up her Amber Tobacco and look forward to trying it soon, scent I'm more into for sure.

Thanks! Yeah. The shave is one of the best parts of my day (sometimes the best part of my day). You have possibly the best brush collection on the forum, so I think we all have something we bring to this that keeps us coming back everyday.
