The ingredients are solid. I think it could benefit from a tiny bit of Vitamin-C in the formula, but for the most part, it works as good as any of my fancy, expensive face serums that I own. And on a "per ounce" basis, PAA is way less money. With the PAA serum you get 4 ounces for $14 and if you look on Amazon for face serums with similar ingredients, they are selling 1 ounce for over close to $20. So, you figure out the math. It's way cheaper for the same stuff. And yes, it works fine. Good post-shave feel, not greasy and my skin feels hydrated and protected. I highly recommend.

I think the media never talking about ELO's work on the Xanadu Soundtrack is one of the biggest crimes of modern media. It's like no one remembers the best stuff from my childhood. (I had to edit this to show that I 'liked' ELO's Xanadu soundtrack songs.) The movie 'bombed' with critics and had an 'okay' box-office, but got a cult following. I appreciate the best parts of the movie despite its obvious silly failures. ELO, Olivia Newton-John, Gene Kelly (almost typed "Grace Kelly" lol) and the animation of Don Bluth, along with the dance numbers were fantastic. The movie's failure were in the slightly cheesy dialog and poorly directed scenes that failed to make the characters more 'real'. But as a child, I didn't know the difference and loved the movie. ELO's music from this movie was on my cassette player more times than I can count back when I was like 8 years old.

Agreed Tim. ELO has a great number of songs that the general public will recognize, but will be unable to name them as the recording artist. Unfortunately, the media can and will shape whatever they want into their own narrative. Finally, Grace Kelly is a far stretch from ELO...HA! Don't let your subconscious mind take over your typing!! :happy088:

This one was a little rough on my neck. I think the Rockwell is a better choice for me, since I can get close without much worry about irritation or weepers. The soap is a winner, I really like the scent. I was planning to sell it, but now I think I may keep it.

Perhaps a little over the top with the Shave Prep.....but I had a day outside in the cold yesterday and my face was very dry this morning, and of course you should always try to pamper yourself at least once a week!
The Royal Forest is my favourite TOBS cream to date. It is reported to have a scent similar to Creed Aventus. Now .....I have never tried Aventus but it is very slick and fruity and a pleasure to use.
2 passes and a touch up for a perfect BBS finish and a great way to start a Sunday:)

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 badger brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher razor with a ShaVeZee SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Excellent shave this morning. Super smooth and efficient with the Karve E plate that brought a BBS finish in 3 passes. And the Bottega Veneta Pour Homme is perfect for a cold, crisp morning. Think Aspen Cologne, Lagerfeld and Cool Water but with a nice Pine and forest type scent and modern semi sweet freshness. It’s like nothing else. This is a Man’s Man Parfum. No pansies need apply. If your Misses likes her man to smell like a man, this is for you. Have a great day and awesome shaves to all... ;)
