Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: Semogue 1438.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Bath House Spanish Fig & Nutmeg Shaving Soap.
Blade: Ted Pella PTFE SS. (D5)
Razor: Ever-Ready 1912. (US)
Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Baylis & Harding Sandalwood & Amber ASB./Oud 24 Hours EDP.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

After the run with the Schick Type G Injector & Gem Featherweight over the last few weeks i thought it would be a good idea to carry on with some of my other Vintage SE razors for the rest of the week.
A wonderful early morning shave...The TP PTFE blade is still feeling smooth and efficient on it's 5th outing showing no signs of tugging throughout the shave cutting through my stubble with ease.

The Bath House soap provided a wonderful lather in a short space of time....I have mentioned before i find this shaving soap similar to MWF in performance which i like very much, it's fragrance has a very pleasant 'Spicy' scent which is great for the winter months of the year but i use it all year round, not just for the colder months of the year. Another great soap that gives a superb post shave feel.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups smooth shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Oud 24 Hours EDP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

Fernando really created two winners - this Dark Blue soap and aftershave are magnificent. The scent is so beautiful - it’s an exact copy of Hugo Boss Dark Blue. The soap’s tallow formula gives the lather such thickness, richness, and slickness, it’s very cushiony as well as protective, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Fino balm is is unscented not to mention how moisturizing and soothing it is. The Dark Blue aftershave has the same gorgeous scent as the soap and because it’s witch hazel based it has zero stinging or burning. My Gillette Platinum blade is getting a bit dull but it still helped me get a fabulous three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

The Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

A wonderful shave with this Cold River Soap Works soap (with olive oil base). The Edwin Jagger razor and brush provides the most comfy shave I can imagine. Aces!

Sunday Schick Shave, Feb 13th, 2022

Razor: Schick J1 injector- Mfg 1957-64, great tame mid range, nice handle feeling razor, handle is longer than other models.
Oneblade Core- I like this razor after hair clipping trim to shave the back of my neck, excellent mild razor with a De- spine Gem.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (6) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Gillette Pure cream- nice mild clean scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Viper 24mm boar bristle- my best boar brush for face feel, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, nice scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Schick J1 with a Personna blade.

***EDIT - Knocked down 2 days of growth. I was concerned that a smooth Bolzano Equinox blade and the mild 1904 razor would be too laid back, but I got one of the best shaves. 1-pass + clean up and it's super smooth and not one bit of sting whatsoever on the post-shave products and even a direct spray to my newly shaved neck with the Tommy Hilfiger cologne and zero alcohol sting. I'd have to say this was pretty close to a perfect shave. Zero issues at all. I almost like having 'something' wrong with a shave because that makes each shave interesting. This shave was literally too perfect. I'll have to remember this razor/blade combo if I ever have to shave for a special event because it's literally zero irritation to the nth degree. As if a blade never touched my skin.
