Of the yaqi have seen some bad reviews, although I never expect Wolfman like QC when it comes to Yaqi. I'm gonna order it regardless.

As for the Winning. Is not a stunner either but it is a wonder how it shaves.

For my beard yes, 3 passes 1 more for clean ups and lots of buffing but man, does it delivers a close shave that is long lasting also.

Today went with a fat handled tech, a custom made ceramic handled best badger brush, and some Irish Moos cream. Neck shave only. I woke up from a coma with a beard a few months back and decided to keep it until i get my hip replacement surgery.

It's been too long since I'd had a GEM shave and even longer since I used the magnificent GEM Heavy Flat Top aka G-Bar. If you know it, you probably like it. It's nothing fancy but just a nice, solid shaver with a great handle. Every time I use it I find it hard to believe that there is no contemporary version of this. Just a simple flip cap that will never go wrong.

HoM Tobacconist is just so good. 5/5 in every category...scent, performance, post-shave...you name it. The extra soft Jayaruh brush whipped up a soft, yogurt-like lather and the fragrance, oh my, it's just so nice to my nose.

Just an all-around fantastic shave. 10/10. I hope you have a great day!

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with the Bunny B-400 Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Stahly Live Blade Razor with a Wilkinson Sword Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pharoah's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Not even a professional barber could have done a better job of shaving me - three passes knocked off all my tough stubble and left me BBS. Fernando’s Frosted Bay Rum is a MAGNIFICENT soap - the scent is so gorgeous, the tallow formula gives it such great lather with lots of slickness, there’s plenty of menthol in it, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep’s scent seems to go so well with anything bay rum scented, it’s so soothing and moisturizing, not to mention how cooling it is, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave gives a good, strong menthol kick, and I love that old school European scent. What a delightful shave this was!

Razor: Yaqi Tile with a Yaqi Rocket razzo handle- Mfg 2021> mild razor, a Feather blade works well in this razor IMO. Very smooth shave today and very enjoyable.
Blade: Feather- very sharp, can be a little harsh for the first couple of shaves in a mid range razor but it works well in mild razors and it works very well in those type of razors IMO.
Soap: Razorock "The dead Sea" - nice mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Mysterious space silver tip badger, Excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, great scrub + excellent lather painter. Very nice badger brush!
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock "The dead sea" AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my Yaqi Tile razor with a Feather blade.

First shave with vintage Williams. Wow, what a difference from the newer version! Thick, long lasting lather, very slick. I had a great, comfortable shave this morning.
