No shave yesterday. My wife has me painting kitchen cabinets so this has been a busy weekend.

    Awesome quick shave this afternoon.

    Take care everyone.

Thanks Ron. I thought the color was interesting also and had to pick it up. It has been sitting idle for a long time though because of blades. I finally used it for the first time with injector blades. I bought some actual NOS Enders blades not too long ago as well but decided to try the adapter first.

CC Frozen Vetiver. Now that is one that you don't see that often anymore. One of my favorite Vetivers. :happy088:

The HC&C tubs are $21. They say these contain 4oz however they fill them much fuller, usually over 5oz. The White Star soap comes as a 3oz brick packaged in the gold foil paper and is $5.25. I apologize if I have made this confusing. Hopefully this clears it up.

I haven't used my Twig in at least three months if not longer. I kept saying "next shave" but it didn't happen. Chalk it up to having too many good choices but today was the day. I had a Nacet handy so I used it. I find the Twig to be comfortable and effective, with it's bulbous handle and diminutive head.

This was my first use of a DentonMajik product and, while I can't say the fragrance is a favorite, it was far from offensive and performed very well.

I had a very close BBS shave but I overdid it with touch-ups which left me with irritation. I also haven't had the best of luck with Nacet blades. They are definitely sharp but can be rough on my face. Let's call it a 9/10 result. Have a wonderful day!

    Osage Rub

The Ingram Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #415 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with The Single Edge SE Razor with a Supply Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Great shave my friend!

Ingram from the UK seems to be no longer available but the Egyptian version is. When you’re about to finish your tube let me know and I’ll try to get my mitts on a couple of tubes of the Egyptian one and send them out to you. It shouldn’t be so hard for me to get them!

    Menthol Monday:

    A true blue Grand Freeze!

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/7 AM day 13
    Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS
    Prep ASB
    Fine Snake Bite AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel Parfum

The menthol power of this Glacial Electric Sheep soap is off the charts like all the other Glacials - this is the first and only mutton tallow based Glacial and I think it’s magnificent. The scent is the same as the regular version of Electric Sheep - a lovely blend of lemon, citronella, and eucalyptus, along with powerful menthol fumes, the lather is so rich, super slick, and protective, the menthol sensation batters your face immediately, and the skincare is perfect - no dryness or irritation whatsoever. The Prep always delivers on the moisturizing and soothing along with its own special cooling sensation as well as its nice Noxzema like scent, and the Snake Bite aftershave is unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the gorgeous fragrance of the Bleu de Chanel, and it’s mega frigid. Another fabulous BBS shave which I enjoyed so much!

Have a good week - be well and safe!
