The Cella Crema da Barba lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SlimGem 3D Injector Razor and the Personna SS Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. A quickie but a very goodie - originally I was going to use another South African soap but I was in a big rush so I grabbed the first thing in front of me and I made it my setup for today. The Williams Menthol is one of my favourite creams - for the most part I’ve become a soap man but there are still certain creams that I still enjoy using and this is one of them. The scent is so nice, it’s so easy to lather, there’s a most pleasant menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is very comfortable. The Prep and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave completed the job in fine style. The Versace Dreamer eau de toilette smells very nice - if I remember correctly it was a birthday gift last year from a friend of my wife’s. Three lightning fast passes gave me a super duper BBS shave - beautiful!

DE SOTD, Thursday, February 7th 2023

Razor : Razorock Wunderbar slant with a modified Gem Micro-Matic handle, Mfg 2017-22, mid to upper mid range depending on technique used, Machining and Finish QC is excellent, light touch with steep angle(riding the bar) needed with a short handle for less leverage and weight gives stellar shaves. Excellent shave this morning!
Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP- sharp & Smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, nice scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard knot , Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Wunderbar with a Gillette 7oclock SP.

This Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic and this Canadian made Tech are both fantastic items - do I ever love them. The De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris soap is also awesome - it’s not tallow based but it sure lathers great and it’s very slick, the scent is so nice, and it’s very skin friendly. The Intesa gel from Italy is so moisturizing as well as soothing, and it has a slight cooling sensation. Finally, the Max Disinfecting aftershave went on with a big sting for two seconds but then it felt heavenly on my skin. It’s from Bulgaria and it’s very cheap. Three passes gave me a wonderful, super comfortable BBS shave!
