Again I had to rush this morning so I jumped in the shower for a couple of minutes, dried off, and grabbed the first thing in front of me which was the Lyko cream from India which I really love. This stuff has a very nice aquatic/minty scent, a small dab on both cheeks is more than enough to get great lather, there’s a mild, but pleasant menthol sensation, and the skincare is excellent. This cream is widely used in Indian barber shops and it sells very CHEAPLY over there. The Nip Man balm from the UK also smells nice and minty, it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing, and it’s quite mentholated also. The Aqua Velva Sport aftershave is a top favourite of mine - I love the menthol punch it gives and the scent is so nice but it doesn’t clash with any fragrance you want to wear. I only had enough time for two passes but I still had a great BBS shave!

Razor : Gem 1912(1921 model) - Mfg 1912-40"s?, excellent mid range with a new blade, Gem & ASR brand names sold millions of 1912 concept models over the decades because they where just perfect to some folks. Very enjoyable shave this morning, had to use a Rigs shim because of the spring tension indicator was showing it was designed for the older thicker splines of its time (1921).
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable & safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities, nice change up in winter months.
Brush : Yaqi "Goblin" 24mm synthetic, Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Nice handle to grip + how they Yaqi can make handle so interesting at times must of caught my eyes.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber (Razorock) Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 old blemish weeper= Excellent shave my 1912 model closed comb with a coated Gem blade.

Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Razor: Merkur 39C Slant.
Blade: Ninja Stainless. (D2.)
Lather: Williams Mug Shaving Soap.

Post:
Cold water Face Wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Williams Aqua Velva ASL. (Spanish Version.) / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Another wonderful shave where everything in the shave set up worked together wonderfully. A smooth performance from the Merkur 39C /Ninja Stainless duo cutting through my remaining stubble with effortless ease.
A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Cella Crema da Barba lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Back to my brother Fernando’s wonderful soaps - his Chieftain is a tallow based treasure with a beautiful scent that’s a carbon copy of Hugo Boss Bottled, the lather exploded off my awesome Yaqi Barber Pole and was so thick, rich, puffy as well as SLICK, and I couldn’t ask for a more comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm delivered so well on the moisturizing and soothing, while the Max Disinfecting aftershave went on with a big two second sting but then it felt cool and comfortable. I bought the Havana eau de toilette in Miami a couple of years ago and I think it smells gorgeous - even the wife loves it on me so that’s a great bonus. Three passes gave me a helluva terrific BBS shave that was so enjoyable!
