The Musgo Real Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Baton handle Treet SE Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s snowing like a son of a gun again today but I still have to go out whether I like it or not because I have to pick up a package which came from India yesterday and I missed the delivery. It contains more Captain Nemo stuff as well as some other Indian goodies. I enjoyed the Blend 47 so much this morning - it has such a nice mild eucalyptus scent, it lathers up superbly - even though it’s a vegan soap it gives great slickness, there’s a good dose of menthol, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep and the Skin Bracer aftershave completed the job perfectly. Three passes really did me proud - another BBS work of art - what a brilliant shave this was!

Razor : Yaqi Telstar, with a modified Micromatic handle- Mfg 2022>, upper mid range, well built with good coating of chrome, bought this one on sale to tinker with, excellent shave with a steep angle and short handle and light touch worked great!
Blade : Gillette Polsilver SI (4) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX, nice unique fresh soap scent with excellent lather qualities. Tallow based.
Brush : Razorock Plissoft 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. 1st decent synthetic brush I bought 6 years ago.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 chin weeper= excellent shave with my Yaqi Telstar with Gillette Polsilver SI blade.

My first time using this Absolute Zero soap and aftershave and I’m blown away by them. The scent is very nice - it’s kind of on the aquatic side and very similar to Davidoff Cool Water. The soap has a vegan formula but it lathers very easily, thick, rich, it’s surprisingly very slick, it gives a MONSTROUS menthol sensation which is competition any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s got excellent skincare. The Prep as always is so soothing, cooling, moisturizing, and protective, not to mention how FRIGID the Absolute Zero aftershave is. A little Bleu de Chanel and I smell so gorgeous - even if I say so myself. What an awesome three pass BBS shave this was!
