*Obsessive Soap Perfectionist' idea to clone Old Spice.
**Why the parentheses. It does say "Classic Original Scent" on the bottle, along with the year Shulton began the classic..1938. I'd still prefer the Shulton original, though.

an insanely wonderful shave.. I've said it before, but I'd actually forgotten how smooth the 34C is with a Super Iridium, and the Kodiak base was simply superb. HELL YEAH.

    Greetings,

The 37C is such a smooth efficient razor to shave with. Slant bar razors don't get the love they rightly deserve, paired up with the Ninja stainless cut through my remaining stubble effortlessly.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of X-Bolt EdT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

    Hi Friends,

Here is my Sunday Shave (05.02.2023)

    BFC084B7-0818-48D7-ABC6-320673244974.jpeg
Razor: Parker 78r Graphite // Blade: Gillette Wilkinson India (2) // Soap: PAA Ciderhouse Five // Brush: PAA Phantom Aerolite // Aftershave: Pitralon classic

My newest family member…The Parker 78r Graphite. Looks wonderful and feels great too. Great value for the money. Extrem maneuverable, head heavy and shaves extremely well.

It is very smooth, gentle like theMühle R89 but efficient as aRockwell 6S on plate 5 (or a Karve on Plate D).

2,5 wonderful passes. This razor will be in my rotation for sure.

The soap smelled wonderful. A comfy, cozy, yet fresh scent. I love it.

The Pitralon Classic, known for it´s good amount of alcohol in it, did not sting or burn in any way. So it seems that the razor is mild (you can feel the blade quite a bit) but is very thoroughly. Great combo i think.

    That´s it for now.

Take your time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Buon giorno cari amici!

    Una rasatura italiana questa mattina:

    Translation:

    Good day dear friends!

    An Italian shave this morning:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/Rapira day 5
    Proraso Green SS
    Prep ASB
    Proraso Green AS Splash
    Fahrenheit EdT

It’s not too often that I use the Proraso Green soap but whenever I do I enjoy it a lot. Since it was reformulated I find it performs much better. The scent is pretty much the same, but the lather is a lot easier to whip up, it’s so thick, rich, cushiony and protective, it still gives a good menthol sensation, and it’s much more skin friendly. The Prep took great care of me afterwards, and the Proraso Green aftershave went on really chilly. Three passes gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave!

Wishing y’all a nice Sunday - be well and stay safe![IMG]

Real fine shave this mrrning with OSP "Old Gold"(kinda like Old Spice)soap and the Old Spice(Proctor&Gamble)A.S. Jayaruh brush(#59). I think this was my best loading action(maybe until tomorrow?). Overall nice clean fresh face&neck. I did get 3 Polka-dots at North Porcupine(just under the nose). 2 passes. No Cuts, Knicks, and the aforementioned 3 polka-dots. A little better down at Cactus. These Old Spice dupes almost match Rise Superfoam in the "almost the origional but just not quite" persuasion. Most Outstanding.
