    SlimGem 3D Injector
    Personna SS Injector

    Humphrey's Witch Hazel

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SlimGem 3D Injector Razor and the Personna SS Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Wednesday morning‘s Grand Freeze:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/Rapira day 8
    MSC Peppermint Lime SS
    Prep ASB
    MSC Peppermint Lime AS Splash
    Fahrenheit EdT

This Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic is one helluva performer as well as a gorgeous looking brush - it never fails to work its magic. My brother Fernando’s Peppermint Lime soap is absolutely MAGNIFICENT and so is his matching aftershave. The scent is so lovely - it’s exactly what it implies and although the lime is the more dominant note, I can still smell the peppermint. The soap’s tallow formula promotes such fantastic lather which is so thick, rich, SUPER SLICK and protective, the menthol sensation hits HARD especially during the second and third passes not to mention how great the skincare is. Needless to say the Prep always delivers beautifully on the moisturizing and soothing while the Peppermint Lime aftershave goes on without any stinging or burning because it’s witch hazel based and it’s a menthol atom bomb. I’m really loving the Fahrenheit eau de toilette these days - if I remember correctly it was a gift from my beautiful sister-in-law. Three passes got me almost as smooth as my wife and daughter - what a wonderful shave this was!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Razor :
Gillette Fatboy adjustable E4- Mfg 1959 4th qtr, great adjustable razor, well built to last generations with a little care + it is my Birthday year so used it today on my birthday, had a excellent shave.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP(2) sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier for comfort and performance.
Soap : Yaqi "The Green", nice mild scented soap of walking in the woods with excellent lather creations. Yaqi commissioned Master soap creations S.A to create their soap and fragrance line. Very nice soap & Splash IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Dandelion" 24mm Cashmere synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle Splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This handle feels great in my average sized hand.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi "The Green" splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] excellent shave with my 1959 Gillette Fatboy with a Gillette 7oClock SP blade.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
    Brush: omega 10066.
    Face Lather.
    Lather: LEA Shave Stick.
    Blade: Ninja Stainless. (D2)
    Razor: Merkur 37C Slant.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. / Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Cien Aqua + Sensitive ASB.

    Greetings,

A wonderful early morning shave to finishing my shaving week off superbly. The Ninja Stainless/Merkur 37c duo has been very smooth and consistent throughout the week.

Slant razors have a reputation of been dangerously aggressive , and "not for beginners", both the 37C & 39C like it's bigger sibling are very efficient razors which can mow down a heavy beard with no mercy, and probably won't be suited to everyone's taste's... but to be honest, IMHO both razors are no more dangerous than any other efficient DE razor that I have in my humble collection.

The Merkur 37C 39C & Parker 55SL semi-slant i consider all to be comfortably efficient mild feeling razors and don't require any special angle or technique, to get a good irritation free smooth shave.
Out of the three the Merkur 39c is the most efficient due to it's hefty handle, and the Parker 55SL the least efficient, but all three razors feel comfortable to use and deliver a close comfortable shave.
They are like any other kind of razor which will bite you if you don't treat them with respect & follow the common sense rules of wet shaving, just like you do with any other razor.

The Lea shave stick is absolutely superb, not just for it's price tag, but most importantly for it's performance & post shave feel.

Since i added the Omega 10066 boar brush it has became a firm favourite. I find it to be a wonderful performer for both bowl & face lathering.

A very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
