i love the boar brushes,and they're the most abundant in my collection.the semogue 830 was my first higher end brush .my others from the past were wilkinsin brushes and more recently(2011) omega beech handle boars.just added the semogue 820 in black to the bunch.nice brush.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas boar.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) with Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp. (blue pack) (D1)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:

Early morning shave,

A wonderful lather from the HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) The Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils gives the soap a mild medicinal scent with a wonderful post shave feel from the lanolin making my mature rhino skin feel superb.

I count myself very fortunate that my skin type doesn't have any adverse reaction from the lanolin & essential oils that are added to the HWF soaps.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Oh my God, this soap and aftershave are LETHAL. The Glacial Wintergreen stuff is bloody cold but this one is totally insane - it definitely passes it in the menthol power!

At one time all I used was the Noxzema cream and it was and still is my number one favourite of any shaving product but then it was discontinued so that’s how I started using a million different brands of soaps and creams. This stuff has that awesome old school scent, the lather is sublime, there’s such a delightful menthol sensation, and it leaves my skin feeling like it was born again. The Prep balm has the EXACT same scent as the Noxzema cream and it gives such soothing, cooling postshave care while the Polar Ice aftershave has that wonderful barbershop scent that I love so much and it feels so good. Finally the gorgeous Aramis fragrance and I’m ready to enjoy another relaxing day of retirement. Three swift, glorious passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TAR by Tom and a Wilkinson Sword Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi 2nd generation 316SSP head with my 2nd purchased Yaqi Chippendale 316SSP handle (Darwin handle looking, close to resemblance to that time era for "The Grande shave King razor",1940's existence) I think if this Yaqi Mellon 316SSP head was on the razor at the time of "The Grande shave king" it would still be in business IMO. Mr Mellon(creator of the Grande shave King) had other variations but always very mild it seems!
Mfg 2023>, mid range. What a nice well machined and finished razor head with excellent QC. The audio feed back is a nice sizzling sound of snipped whiskers is best way to describe it. The razor is delightful to use and performs well + results do no lie. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Permasharp(2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with some of the best lather qualities I have used in hard soaps.
Brush : Yaqi "Red Zebra" 26 mm snow leopard synthetic. Excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very nice face feel to this brush + this brush impressed me to purchase other 26mm synthetic brushes.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Nivea refreshing aftershave lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Mellon razor with a Permasharp blade. Very enjoyable shave.
