The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TAR by Tom and a Wilkinson Sword Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My dear brother Jaco in Pretoria, South Africa is another soap and aftershave genius - his Sanga Symphony is a tallow based treasure with a very nice clean, soapy, classy scent, my Yaqi Barber Pole whipped up AWESOME lather with so much slickness from it, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer is unscented so it’s perfect for anyone with sensitive skin - it gives such soothing, and do I ever LOVE the old school scent of the Florida Water. I did three enjoyable passes and I got a splendid BBS shave - even my wife was shocked!

DE SOTD, Wednesday, February 21st 2024

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72 316 SSP head- Mfg Jan 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC. One of my favorite DE razors + excellent performance with a mature hand technique works well for my self. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with a fresh Nacet makes for a nice shave.
Blade : Gillette Nacet(1) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Speick stick- nice mild spicy lavender soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Atlantis" 24mm synthetic knot G4? Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very close 2band badger feel for a synthetic IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Lupo.72 razor with a Nacet blade.
