MWF, EVO synthetic, face lathering, Gillette Slim @5 then 3, Vintage Henckels (2) feels a lot sharper in the Slim @5. I have high hopes this one will last longer than 3 or 4 days

The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's 3D Tuxedo Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1. SE Razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If this setup doesn’t freeze your face off nothing will. The Glacial Black Cherry is a lethally mentholated soap with a great scent, it’s chock full of awesome lather that’s so slick, and it gives wonderful skincare like ALL of Rod’s soaps. The Stoffel balm is also plenty frigid as well as very soothing and moisturizing while the Northern Elixir aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with a nice peppermint scent. Finally the lovely Obsession fragrance and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement. Not much to do today because it’s snowing like crazy. Three passes gave me a beautiful BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

This is a custom essential oil blend I sent to Mohammad, owner of what is now called Aion Skincare back in Oct. 2017. It is the exact formulation that I sent to Amanda of Tiki Bar Soaps (believe she closed her shop years ago) but for some reason, the Grooming Dept version rates out at 5 while the Tiki version was 8.

Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Cream.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

Greetings,

A very bracing cold water face & head shave this morning to give my face & head sensors an early morning wake up call!

My reacquaintance with the Wilkinson Sword Classic blade has been wonderful.

I personally find the second shave with them always feels much smoother. However, like any DE blade or razor in fact this could be down to familiarising myself with them again after a long hiatus of not using them it takes a few shaves for me to get use to them again.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.
