The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's 3D Tuxedo Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1. SE Razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Klar Kabinett soap has been sitting around in my house for umpteen years and I think the last time I used it was back in 2005 so I decided to go with it this morning. Although I don’t really dig rosy scented stuff this soap smells quite nice, I used it like a stick by rubbing it all over my face and it gave me awesome lather with so much slickness as well as a pretty comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm added lots of soothing, and do I ever LOVE the Island Man aftershave - it smells magnificent. The Wilkinson blade reached the end of the road but it gave me one last hoorah with a great three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Gold Bond Moisturizer
Floid Vigoroso AS Splash

Gentlemen, don’t let the name “sottozero” fool you because although it’s Italian for “below zero” this soap is far from being a face freezer - in fact the menthol sensation is very weak. The only two nice features of this stuff are the scent which is very minty and the lather. There’s very little slickness and it’s not great in the skincare department. The Gold Bond moisturizer helped me a lot, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave was such an icy pleasure along with its delightful scent. The new Wilkinson blade worked its magic - another easy peasy super duper three pass BBS shave - no complaints after all!
