Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Ikea Kalas Side Bowl.
Lather: Gillette Skin Ultra Sensitive Shave Cream.
Blade: King C. Gillette. (D2)
Razor: King C. Gillette.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Splash-On Lotion./Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

Early morning shave,

A wonderful inexpensive shave to end my shaving week & month off on a high.

My focus with the King C Gillette & Wilkinson Sword premium TTO razors has been a pleasure, both razors have me provided me with acceptable close shaves.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Better MWF day today...

Brush = Pura Setola, soaking in luke warm water around 10 minutes
Shook dry 6 times
25 swirls on the puck, straight to the moist face
Much better this time. Nice and thick. Only added 3 or 4 drops of water to the brush to get a much better lather. Is it the best I have had? No but this is still really good and still deserves a score of 1.

Passes = 2 passes and touch ups. Just topped up the MWF between passes from the puck with a few swirls

For me the MWF is a bit like goldilocks and the 3 bears. It has to be just right. It has much less latitude than my other soaps.

 

Believe it or not this Absolute Zero soap and aftershave are colder than Cryogen. Ok, not by much but enough to be noticed.

Man oh man oh man my dear brother Fernando makes some of the BEST soaps and aftershaves I ever used. His Peppermint Lime has such a beautiful scent which is actually more lime but the peppermint notes shine through as well. This soap is tallow based, the lather is so thick, rich, super slick and cushiony, the menthol sensation is POWERFUL, and it’s so generous in the skincare department. The Gold Bond moisturizer delivers lots of menthol as well with such a soothing feeling, and the Peppermint Lime aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns and needless to say it freezes the daylights out of you. Another most enjoyable three pass beauty of a BBS shave - wow!!!!!

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #424 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Tourqued Slant Razor and the Gillette Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Yes, I purchased this brush in 2013 along with a white 1/2 blonde badger, but I preferred the looks of the L7, so I sold off the 1/2 in white but kept the black 1/2.
