3 Passes = ok shave. This edge is not much to write home about, of course I am no Hone Meister either. A few laps on the Swaty followed by 100 laps on canvas and 200 laps on leather, well, it took the hair off, but nowhere near as comfortable as the Torrey. Still, it is better than canned goo and carts!

This was such a beautiful face-freezing shave with one of the best creams ever invented. One of these days I want to run a contest between Godrej Menthol Mist and Palmolive Menthol to see which one is colder, so I'll lather one side of my face with one, and the other side of my face with the other cream.

This is shave #7 on the Schick blade and it is still going strong. I enjoyed another excellent shave followed by my favorite Bay Rum. I am now ready for the day.

 

British Personna/Perma sharp blade/Turkish Horsehair/Tet-a-Tet SC and Balm​

Yesterday's shave with the Rolls was so close I didn't have much stubble today. So I opted for this little personna. I was so impressed with the Tet-a-Tet yesterday that I'm using it again. It was whipped up to a luxurious cream by this 2 dollar Turkish brush. 3 gentle passes,, leaving my face and head BBS and soft.

My Menthol Monday shave was a day late due to rough shave I experienced from the Travalong razor, so I held off a day on shaving, today's shave just about made up for it though.

The Super-Max Super Stainless Blade was a pleasant surprise, and gave a nice smooth, irritation free shave. For some reason I was thinking I had tried one before without good results, so I'll have to check back through my SOTD posts to see if I had or not.

I also unwittingly had a "Green" shave day today, what with the Osage and AV Sport being green, and the Bigelow tube matching them in color.

Great music + menthol shave + smooth blade = 5 Blade shave today!

All-in-all a very rewarding soft-gentle shave, close but not scary close...The Rapira is not as sharp or smooth as the Derby was on Monday, I had to make an extra pass to get a shave almost as close...Now 2 hours later I have to re-evaluate this shave...This is scary close, and exceptionally smooth...Just didn't seem like it at the time...
