I actually just ordered 120 Russian blade variety pack yesterday. I've seen them used alot and wanted to try them. $11 shipped was good enough for me .

No shave for me today as I woke up feeling like I went 12 rounds with Tyson in his prime.

@Norcalnewb how is the KMF lavender? I have been trying to decide between it and mint. Thanks:)

Thanks! Here's hoping it's just one of those 24 hour colds as I just got over the flu a few weeks ago and don't want to deal with that again.

It is the only KMF product, and it is very lightly scented. The performance is great, though.

Most studies show that no amount of Vitamin C can shorten the life of a cold. But it is helpful in overall cold resistance, just not much good when the cold is already in your system

I'm going to disagree with you, studies show vitamin C increases your bodies immunal system therefore allowing it to fight an already existing cold with the end result being a shortened duration.

Maybe newer studies? Haven't researched it recently. But I remember reading articles (in peer reviewed journals) that it does increase immune system function, which you would think would correlate to a shorter cold, but last I read, despite this, on average test subjects' colds didn't have any statistically significant changes

Can you believe in this day and age with all the medical and technological advances we have, that we still cannot cure the common cold!?! Amazing :)

Sounds crazy doesn't it? Something that is so common. I'm baffled by it. But the cold is a very resilient little bugger. Constantly changing, so even if there were a cure it would only work for a limited time. Which could eventually be sorted out (similar to how flu shots change every season)
