Outstanding shave today with these shaving products. DFS. The Route 66 Sweeney Todd shaving soap is brimming with the aroma of delicious Sicilian blood oranges, with their signature spicy berry undertone, blended with a hint of fir, warmed on a rich woody base.

    Yesterday's Shave:
Prep: Hot Shower/ Dove Men's Face Scrub
    Pre-Shave: PAA Ice
Soap: Beaver Woodwright Ship Wreck Cove
    Brush: Jack Black Synthetic
    Razor/ Blade: Merkur 37c Slant
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Eco Pure Man Balm
    Aftershave: Fine Clean Vetiver
Fantastic shave. The Beaver Woodwright loaded up easily and provided a great thick and slick lather. The scent of this is amazing--need to pick up the aftershave. It is one of my favorite aquatic scents. The post shave is also great. Everything else worked great as well. The Jack Black brush is a fantastic synthetic--just pricey.

I really like this soap!!! The scent is a lighter, sweeter take on Rose. Very nice. The performance, as usual with their soaps, is spot on!!
This will be my next soap from them. :)

Nice to use the Boker again, as smooth as silk gliding across my face and The Zeus did quick work on face lathering. Holding enough for 5 or 6 passes.

The Vision balm is good stuff. It has menthol in it and doesn't leave my face feeling oily. Nice!!

Video here for your entertainment. :)

    Brush - Parker badger
Post - witch hazel, neutrogena balm
    Cologne- Pinaud bay rum

Shave was a good shave. The slant rAzor is a different beast. Sliced myself in a couple of places . But I realized after my first pass that I was using pressure.. I stopped and refocused, I slowed down my shave. I got this idea from watching @Cap7597 this morning. I noticed he was slow and focused in his shaves.. After that the rest of my shave went a lot better.. I mimicked his technique and incorporated in to some of mine. My face is smooth as silk.. Although I do have irritation but I'm ok with it.
    Happy shaving !

My shave for Sunday morning with a new DE:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:

Folsom & Company Black Powder AS :love055: :love055::love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

My first time using this Chinese-made DE which I bought today for about 3,50$ and I transplanted my Astra blade into it. It's also my first time using a cream in about two weeks or so and I selected the Palmolive Menthol which I love so much. That scent, lather, and awesome chilly menthol sensation together with so much skincare that the Lucky Tiger a/s cream increases so well. A couple of splashes of the Black Powder leaves you smelling great and feeling really cool and refreshed! ;) :D

Thanks! The Parker is a shavette, right? I thought about one, less maintenance. May try one someday, one thing at a time. I kinda like the maintenance on a straight though.

    20160227_165609.jpg

    Prep: gustafsons woodlands
    Razor: 1953 Gillette Tech
    Blade: Big Ben (4th shave)
    Brush: omega s synthetic
Soap: Wholly Kaw - Twice As Spice
Post: MLS Italian Stallion aftershave milk

2 pass shave, the Big Ben Blade is still going strong. I may even go as far to say that this has been the smoothest shave on the blade so far. The WK soap makes a wonderful lather, so slick it is hard to believe it is a vegan soap. Nice smooth finish from today's shave. Hope everyone had a great shave!

For my third shave I decided to try some pso and all I can say is wow! Such a difference, thank you @Sara-s
    PSO- Peppermint homemade
    Razor- Atomic Razor
    Blade- Astra SP
    Brush- Omega synthetic
    Soap- Arko shave stick
    ASB- Nivea men cooling
Three passes today, WTG, XTG and WTG. Absolutely no irritation, no blood today either. I could feel the razor just gliding across my face. Not BBS but a DFS, I read more than a few times here to not chase the BBS and let it come. This was by far my most enjoyable shave ever.

Cool container for the PSO. I'm so happy it worked for you, I find PSO moisturizes my skin nicely during my shaves. :)

I used 4 tablespoons of grapeseed oil and 2 tablespoons of castor oil. I then added 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. It cost me about $15 and I probably have enough ingredients for a lifetime of PSO. Shake well and enjoy :)
