    The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes with my new Gillette Blue Tip razor and a Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    SOTD Feb 26th:
    Prep: Vaseline lotion-picked it up on a whim from the grocery store and it turns out it really helps prep my skin from being too dry before a shave and really cuts down on irritation for me.
    Brush: RR Plissoft Barber Pole.
    Razor: Phoenix DOC on Stainless Handle
    Blade: Personna Platinum
    Soap: TABAC
    Post: Home-mix aftershave (Water, Witch Hazel, Alcohol, and menthol crystals)

    Definitely enjoying this Tabac so far. I'll be using it pretty regularly, so we'll see what I think over the lifetime of the puck.

    Saturday SOTD

    Continuing my adventure with the Merkur 39c Slant. I tried a Feather blade for a few shaves and found the results close, but not very smooth feeling. Went back to an Astra SP and the shave was buttery smooth. Another wonderful BBS!

    Thanks. The WD HMW is surprisingly soft. Soft scrub with no scritch. A very good value.
