I prepared the "heavy artillery" for tomorrow's shave, and I'm looking forward to some great freezing. The Balkan version of Palmolive Menthol cream goes on frigidly especially washing your face with this super-icy Gatsby facial wash. The 444/Barbon duo are terrific at keeping the "twenty below zero" feeling going for most of the day!

 

kept it simple today face lathered with my Wd silver tip arko stick Oc Gillette new 3 pass wtg xtg atg finished off with some aqua velva ice blue sport for one dfs.

• AS: Mennen Skin Bracer Cool Spice
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, double splash of aftershave

Another great shave with the Merkur 37C HD. The Polsilver Stainless is such a great blade, I just hate that Gillette in their infinite wisdom decided to pull production from Poland and move it to Russia and that these blades will no longer be produced.

A very nice and cool shave today.

So, I just finished taking my newly plated Gillette New on its maiden voyage. Along for the ride was:

It was an excellent BBS shave with only two passes. This is one of Gillette's all-time greats.

I was looking pretty scruffy with three day stubble, so l took my time in prep, soaked with a warm washcloth, and took slow, light strokes. The TSD lanolin soap makes an excellent lather. Three passes, very smooth result with no irritation.

Today was a take it easy shave I did it because I wanted to and not because I had to. So I soaked in a piping hot tub for awhile with the radio blaring. And enjoyed a nice relaxing dfs. Really took my time and enjoyed every second of the bigelow face freeze
