Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip 2014
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue

    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Old Spice original Shulton 1980 glass AS (gift from my father in law)

I really like the LC, it's milder than the SC, which I like. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Whipped up some TH 10 in the OS Mug, with the Silvertip. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Old Spice original Shulton 1980 AS. Ahhhh! Gotta love the Spice! Y'all have a good one!

Soap - proraso green , homemade pso w peppermint

    Cologne- citrus musk

Shave went well today. I decided to use the 2nd slim I got last week. I got a DFS shave and it feels great. Slight irritation on upper lip, but not to bad.
I'm torn on this slim. It's in better shap than my wife's grandfathers that he gave me, but I don't need a 2nd one..
    Anyway , I happy with today's shave!!
    Happy shaving gents !

Beautiful. Actually amazing. Yes I'm so late to the Strop Shoppe party I almost missed it. Solsetio is a beautiful spearmint, eucalyptus and almond scent, not overpowering just right. This soap is slick, and provides plenty of cushion. The skincare is out of this world!! WOW!

Can you get a great shave from an inexpensive razor...absolutely.
The Personna Med Preps are smooth, smooth, smooth...and maintaining a keen edge.

Nice to see someone using a razor that most think they need to "move up" from. They really do have a nice finish also

    Menthol Monday SOTD 2/29/16
Prep: Hot Shower/ Nivea Original Moisturizing Face Wash
    Pre-Shave: PAA Ice Pre-Shave Soap
    Soap: Stirling MITA
    Brush: Whipped Dog 24mm Silvertip
    Razor/ Blade: Merkur 1906/ Voskhod (2)
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: SC Integrity Balm
    Aftershave: Stirling MITA
Amazing shave last night. First time using Stirling and it really is fantastic. Definitely one of my top soaps. I didn't bloom it and the Whipped Dog brush has no backbone so loading up was a challenge. I would bloom it and use a different brush next time. The lather was great and very slick. Post-shave is some of the best in the business (tied with Soap Commander). Really excellent stuff. The scent is fantastic--Lime, tequila, and menthol. The menthol is strong and provides a great cooling sensation, but not overpowering. The aftershave is very nice too--left my face nice and moisturized. However, the menthol content in the Aftershave splash is weak...since this is an arctic soap I would like more. Overall, I'm very impressed with the soap, the company, and everything. Packaging was also very nice. Have a great Tuesday!

    Razor: Schick G4
    Blade: Ted Pella(1)
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Soap: Italian Barber
    Oil: Shave Secret
    AS; Nivea Balm

"What A Difference A Day Made" - Natalie Cole.

Everything is back to normal. The 1st pass, WTG and a G4 is like falling off a log(so easy). With a decent lather. 1st pass was as perfect as it gets. The 2nd pass is always a little different ATG. Because I can`t help myself from making different side strokes along the way, WTG/ATG/XTG. I think because I get a slight bit of irritation maybe I should discipline myself not to do that and leave those strokes to a 3rd, light pass to clean up, this is with the injector, de shaving is a different animal. So I`m practicing for the "Bunny" next week.

I thought you might like it (I do use them for sharps). My refrigerator has them all over in all kinds of colors. My wife puts them up to hold all the grandkids pictures, etc. Thanks for noticing. With best regards to you and yours.

Its not often that I see you choose a razor other then your blackbird. Nice SS there, I think I will take mine for a spin after I finish up this rapira blade that I'm using. somehow I feel like I should stick with the blade/razor combo until the blade is done. How many of you swap the same blade into different razors as you progress through your shaves ?

I used an NOS Dutch made Schick Krona blade in the Almighty Type E 2 Today & it offered me the Dolphin Smooth Finish of my Life..This Type E 2 was NOS when I got it..This blade is ever so Forgiving in the Type E 2..It can be a tad Mild in some Injectors but not here..The Type E 2 was far smoother & more forgiving than a much milder Hydro..What a Razor & Blade Combo..These Dutch blades are the Dogs Danglies..Good karma..:)
