    Razor: Merkur 34HD
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum
    Soap: Cella Crema
    Brush: Omega 31025
Post: Cold rinse and Proraso Green AS

I almost didn't shave today but the prickles got the better of me and so I did. Prep wasn't the best and the shave wasn't the best. I had a hard time with the face lather tonight, I expect because I didn't soak the brush long enough. But, I powered through and got in a decent 2 pass shave this evening. I really appreciate the coolness of the Proraso Green after shave.

I can't believe how flawless of a head shave I can get with this razor. Zero irritation, it misses any lumps and bumps that any of my Gillettes will sever and leaves my skull nice and smooth. The Personna blade is technically on shave 6 since I use it for face & skull; it's far exceeded my survival time of Voskhod, Feather, Astra and any other blade, and was still smooth as can be. For about $0.16/blade I'm convinced and switching 100% to these little bad boys. Unfortunately my Merkur has killed any desire of my vintage razors, and finding a backup of this puppy is darn near impossible. Oh boy decisions decisions... OH! The Duke is still slowly blooming nicely, reminds me of my Chubby 1 without the super tiny handle that can cause cramping. LOVE IT.

    Cream: Green Proraso
Brush: Pav Brush Works custom chubette with 24mm TGN Grade A Silver Tip.
    Post: Alum, AoS Lemon ASB

Tried out a new brush, works as good as it looks. Had some shaving bumps on my neck before shaving, and I took an off day yesterday. So they must be from my Standard Razor and Red Personna combo. Due to that I switched to a Wilkinson Sword blade. Smooth shave, no added redness or irritation. The bumps have gotten better since shaving and using my alum and ASB. Might take off tomorrow. Hate get shave bumps. this is the most I've had in a really long time. Who knows, new razor, tried a different blade and a new soap (previous shave) guess it was the perfect storm haha. I'll use my shavette on sunday probably.

    Saturday

    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: Stirling Iced Coffee
    Razor: Gillette Fat Handle Tech
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mm x 48mm
    Aftershave: Tabac

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I used my new Gillette Fat Handle Tech for the first time today loaded with a Gillette Silver Blue. I lathered up with a test puck of Stirling Iced Coffee. The FH Tech is a keeper! It just “feels” right. Good smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with Tabac EdC.

Wow, this new barbershop brush I have is big, and does it ever whip up some amazing lather. The MITA soap (thanks again Ryan, my man!) smells so nice and it gave me such an intense menthol kick which I enjoyed so much with perfect skincare. I could have easily skipped the balm and splash, but I went with it anyway just to feel some more freezing. This shave was from Paradise! ;) :D

This is the second shave with the new Eversharp HM. Very nice. The KMF Mint Moisture Shave face lathered very well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Eversharp HM left me near BBS. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS left me smooth, clean, and refreshed. Nice...

The only thing better than yesterdays shave was this mornings. I used the same razor both days and both shaves were superb. I got a little shop time yesterday and rehandled one of my favorite knots. The idea was to make it look better, I'm not sure I did but it was in a really ugly handle before, lol. This is the Omega 20248 relofted to 53/54mm. I really like these banded boars. All my experimental boars will be heading to a friend in Pennsylvania soon for him to sort through. I didn't have a plan for this brush when I started making it and it just kind of ended up like this. It looks like something you would find in a clown's dressing room but performance is first rate, IMO. I keep thinking I should pimp this Torrey up a little bit because it's such a good shaver but the other side of me tells me to leave it original. Have a good day.

Pre: Hot shower, Shea Moisture Facial Scrub, homemade PSO
    Razor: Clauss 6/8
    Strop: WD 'Rich man' 3"
    Brush: WD 30mm Silvertip
    Lather: Martin De Candre, face-lathered
Shave: Two passes; minor touch-up with DE

My first straight shave in about a week and I really do need the practice! Consecutive SR days for me would really help.
Two passes (WTG, XTG)got me pretty close, but I am still having some difficulty on certain areas. Practice, practice, practice!
    Have a great Saturday, all!
