When I was in the hospital with my gall bladder, I had to use a disposable. It was scarey but I survived. I am glad you survived.

    Saturday

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash.
    Brush: Turkish #6 Brush.
    Razor: Gillette Aluminum Tech.
    Blade: Personna Med Prep.
    Cream: Lord Emofresh.
Post: cold water rinse, Barbon AS, Phyto Balm.

These med preps are a lot rougher than I remember them being. I didn't enjoy my shave tonight. I got 4 nicks on my upper lip and one on the corner of my mouth. I guess my Aluminum Tech isn't the right blade for that razor.

    Sunday

    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: Coate’s Sandalwood Cream
    Razor: Gillette Fat Handle Tech
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mm x 48mm
Aftershave: Pino Silvestre AS & EdT

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I used my new Gillette Fat Handle Tech again today, this time with the Coate’s Sandalwood Cream. The Coate’s, Tech, and GSB did a great job: close, smooth, nick free. I finished with Pino!

    SUNDAY
    Early 4:15am Shave!
Pre-Pre: Plenty of Peet's Major Dickason blend, black
Pre: Hot shower, Shea Moisture Facial Scrub, homemade PSO
    Razor: Merkur Futur; set@3
    Blade: Merkur Super
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Lather: Stirling 'Frozen Tundra'
    Shave: Two passes; minor touch-up
Post: Cold water rinse, Alum block, 444 Balm

Usually the day after a straight razor shave, my face is still rather smooth & so I debate whether I actually need to shave.
Invariably, I err on the side of shaving with no regrets! ;)
    A 2-pass mild shave with icy-cold menthol lather and post-shave balm…:smiley freezing:
    Have a blessed Sunday all!

    Dove Men's Face Wash
Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap
    Parker Black Badger
    Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic
    Schick Stainless (3)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I face lathered the Col. Conk Bay Rum shave soap with the Parker Black badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Eversharp Hydro-Magic I2 and Schick blade gave me a near BBS shave. After a cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS I was left clean, smooth, and refreshed. Nice...

Damn, I miss my Dovo Bismarck but for safety's sake I can no longer use it. Still, an excellent and very enjoyable BBS shave with my trusty 1950s Super Speed. This new horsehair brush is double the size of my #6 horsehair and I'm freaked out how it lathers up my soaps. I can just imagine how fabulous it'll work when it's completely broken in. Lately I'm using mostly soaps because I have a lot, and I want to re-visit as many of them as possible in the coming days. The Lemon Ice soap from Mama Bear smells terrific and gives fantastic lather with plenty of menthol cooling. The only thing which could be improved a little is the post-shave care, but that's a minor detail. The witch hazel felt wonderful on my skin, and there's no way I can be without the Booster Iced Lime aftershave. For those of you who aren't familiar with the 114 cologne from Amatoury, it's from Lebanon and used in a lot of barbershops over there. I bought a bottle of it in a grocery store here in Montreal, and it's only about five bucks for a 250 ml bottle. It smells very refreshing and lemony - really nice stuff. ;) :D

    Sunday:
    hot shower
    Homemade PSO
    Robeson straight 1 pass
    Gillette Red Tip 2 passes
    Lord Platinum (3)
    Semogue Owners Club badger
    Coates Tea Tree cream
    Thayer's unscented with aloe
    T&H Grafton AS balm
    T&H Grafton cologne

Hadn't shaved with my Red Tip in awhile and I noticed someone else used one recently so that's what I decided to use to finish my shave after 1 very slow and safe learner's permit kind of pass with my Robeson straight. Man, do I like that Coates Tea Tree shave cream! Too much product though this morning as I ended up with enough lather for 3 men and a boy overflowing the bowl and running down the sides. Gotta remember to go sparingly.

How do you MB Dragon's Blood? I have Prairie Creations Dragon's Blood and love the aroma but irritates the heck out of my skin. Possibly due to the fact I had Krissy make it in heavy scent.
