3 passes. VERY close to BBS now. The Red personnas have earned their 1st place in my rotation by now. I love this blade. I leveled the razor a half step up for the third pass and went mostly ATG and it was just pure godness! Not a nick or cut. The Nivea was a new part today and I think it did what it should do for a reasonable price (compared to the Zirh soothe).
Now you have to excuse me because I have a cold beer to drink and some faceturbation to be done.

  [*]Result: After an entire year I broke out the Fusion simply because I did not want to waste a shave on my DE or SE blades for shaving so late in the day. To my surprise I got a near BBS shave with only three passes with the Fusion. Remarkable. No irritation or blood either. Just one thing though, I was able to just rip through the shave a fast as ever not giving a darn about nicks or weepers. That is not fun. I really enjoy the extra time and care needed to shave with a DE or SE razor. Oh, yeah, the Van der Hagan lathered quickly and provided a rich and slippery lather for this shave. I think I have found a really nice soap. And it is really cheap too.

First time using this razor (another open comb type), and got out the big guns to try and get the best shave out of it. Excellent soap and blade choice for me, but it didn't help.........heh. No, I knew after just a couple WTG strokes that this was gonna be trouble. I had to stop after a few more, since the razor felt way too aggressive to continue without the risk of some damage. I also realized it would only be worse if I tried my usual XTG and ATG passes........whew!

I maybe even thought I'd gotten a rare dud blade, but it was great when I transferred it into my fatboy. The difference in comfort was night and day......sigh. Finished the shave in a very enjoyable way. I think the Sheraton may or may not get another chance with a feather at some point. Jeeeeeez, that thing's dangerous. In any case, I'm glad I gave it at least one shot so far.

What a fantastic combo this has been this week. Smooth, comfortable and close shaves that have been the best. I'm a happy guy.

The Superior seems more aggressive then the 1910 Gem Jr i usually use. Even though they look alike. Wonderful shave. I love a razor that I can feel the blade.

The new Fraser cream delivers! I think I like their cream scents a little better than there splash scents. Of course performance was excellent just like the other creams the have.

The SCS Bay Rum made an excellent combo with the Oriental Spice.
