    Hot shower with towel threatment
    Edwin Jagger BBB
    Merkur Futur
    Astra Superior(d2)
    TOBS Eton College S/C
    Cold towel
    Nivea sensitive A/S Balm

The Astra blade is good and a joy to shave with if I'm just having time for 2 passes or so since I can't go ATG on the neck. On the cheeks it does a terrific job! Have got some real goodies on the way now. Hope it will be here in the end of the week or so. Or what about Rose, lavender and some menthol stuff?? :)

  13. You guys with your damascus Livi's... :drool and YOU with the mammoth...

One of these days... when my house is paid off and the school loans are paid and... and...

Maybe I'll just put a dollar a day into a "Livi Jar" for the next 3 years... hmm... that's NOT a bad idea!

Nice SOTD pcitures! Tough acts to follow :)

    Gillette Slim
    Feather blade
    C&E Best Badger
    Mama Bear's Awakenings soap
    Max Refreshing w/Menthol
    SCS Lavender milk

Talk about a terrible shave. I haven't had the kind of redness and bumps on my Adam's apple that I got today in a while! I guess I'm so used to the short handled Merkur that I forgot how to use the Slim. Strange turn of events there as the Slim was the only razor I used for about 8 months.

    Tuesday 1/27 . . .

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
      [*]Brush: C&E BBB
      [*]Soap: Tabac
      [*]Razor: 1912 Ever Ready
[*]Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated SE (shave 7)
[*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
[*]A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & Clubman Club Complete ASB
      [*]EDT: Tabac EDT

[*]Result: Pretty good BBS shave today. But I had to work at it and do a bit more buffing on the oil pass to do it. That means the blade is done for. Got the wife's attention with the Tabac fragrance. She likes it too. No blood today, of course not a real sharp blade to draw any. :D
