I have been on a vintage soap kick lately and the Yardley Black Label did not disappoint. It produced a lovely creamy lather with a pleasant but subdued scent. Another excellent shave!

A much, much better shave without any cuts or nicks today, because this time I didn't try to play the hero. I took the extra time to do things carefully and properly, and I was well-rewarded. I also meant to use one of the creams I received this week as a gift, but the Godrej stuff was right in front of me.

Just one pass with the straight this morning. Wasn't feeling it today. Moved to the red tip and finished up with a nice two pass BBS shave. I want to see how long this blade lasts as I normally don't get more then 3 shaves from a blade.

Just time for a few passes this morning, so I opted for the sportier SS instead of the planned 91r. Didn't think the Derby would go too well with it since it's reported to be a "mild" blade, paired with a mild razor. But it performed well, so crazy close but a comfortable, effortless, and irritation free shave.

Smooth, close, and comfortable--the Lord Platinum Class seems to be an excellent blade for me. Longevity is still to be determined, though (this was the second shave on the blade). The Proraso balm is great, especially on this kind of morning. It's a bit chilly (9 degrees F) and clear today, after the blizzard
