First time using this soap. In a word - great. I really like the scent. Lathered up nice and thick and made for a very close, comfortable shave. Even the price was great - $10 for a refill puck at the mall.

First time shave with Arko stick. The scent is awful and reminds me of old Soviet domestic detergent. But the lather is superb.

My first shave with this Mans Sport, which is made by Evyap International, the same producer of the great Arko line. This stuff lathers like a maniac, and has a light lavender scent, as well as a good soothing effect from aloe vera. The Nesher Man aftershave from my country is competition to Iced Subzero, believe it or not!

All my shaves for the last seven days have been exclusively straight shaves. I caught a nice slice on the chin, but the styptic took care of it fast. Otherwise, a presentable shave. I still have a lot of room left for improvement on the techniques of shaving and blade maintenance, but that is part of the fun!

Almost a perfect shave--very very nice. Didn't shave yesterday, and that second-day growth makes for such a comfortable, smooth shave. And I love the scent of Bay Rum so much--it's certainly going to be a mainstay in my shave gear. The Conk's soap does leave a little to be desired as far as the lasting quality of the lather--by the time I've shaved the right side of my face, the lather on the left side is almost gone. When this puck is gone I'll be in the market for a better quality Bay Rum soap, so suggestions are certainly welcome. Have a great day, everyone!
