    Not that much of a frigid Friday in my bathroom:

    Stirling Pre-Shave Soap :love055: :love055: :love055::love055: :love055: :love055:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Astra day 5
    Henri et Victoria Fall's Lumberjack SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Henri et Victoria Bergamot Vetiver AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

    A very nice Quebecois-style selection as far as soap and aftershave is concerned. Claude Pilon who owns Henri et Victoria created this Fall's Lumberjack soap which has a nice, mild outdoorsy scent and tremendous lather as well as great skincare. Menthol is listed as an ingredient, but it's really not detectable for the most part - perhaps a little bit after the shave. The Bergamot Vetiver aftershave he created is very cold and also beautifully-scented with excellent soothing to it. ;) :D

    Wishing everyone a terrific weekend in advance! :)

    What is Steampunk?

    Steampunk originally described a sub-genre of science fiction and fantasy about a time in history, usually Victorian era society, with the technology of the day powered by steam. This genre included gears and airships (also called dirigibles.)

    “During the Victorian era, steam power revolutionized almost every aspect of life. The steam engine made full-scale industrialization possible and produced mechanical power more efficiently and to greater degrees than human and animal labor could manage on their own.” (from GDFalksen’s Tumblr blog.)

    According to The Ministry of Peculiar Occurances, “the “punk” in “Steampunk” comes from going against convention that, through creativity and declaration of one’s individuality be it through style, gadgets, or attitude, sets one apart.”

    However, now days, steampunk is more than just a literary genre, it’s a cultural movement. Steampunk fashion and reenactment are a big part of this culture and there exists steampunk movies and music.

    Planned Shower for Friday:
    Bodywash-Dove Care+ 4 Men
    Soap-Dial 4 Men Odor Guard(Yale Bowl Blue)
    Shampoo-Clubman Country Club

    Finally opening the second of my 2 Clubmen shampoos(I think I placed this order on the Clubman website a couple years ago). Looks like I'll need a new bodywash in a day or so. The Yale Bowl is the stadium where Yale Univ. plays football. As a Harvard fan, I am forced to admit it's a nice stadium. They'll probably "reformulate" it, as happened to the old Stanford Stadium. Stinks. (IMO).
