    Razor:Merkur futur (S3.5)
    Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (China)(D1)
    Brush: Restored Rubberset 49-4 W 28mm HMB
    Bowl: Dirty Bird 1.5 Scuttle
Pre Shave Soap: Musgo Real Lime Basil Oil
Pre Shave Oil: Homemade Lime & Spearmint
Shave Soap: Prairie Creations DdC Alpine Snowdrift
    Aftershave: Speick
Got the Chinese Wilkinson in a trade and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shave. Apprehensive at first, expecting drag or skipping but audible feedback reminded me of a Feather and no nicks in a two pass BBS shave. Post shave quality of the DdC is superb so bypassed the Monster Block Alum and if it wasn't so cold outside would have passed on the Speick.

Ah...So much lather! First time using this super scrubby brush. If I always used it with the MdC, I may run out real quick! Have a blessed day all.

    Prep: shower, Noxzema
    Razor: ER 1924
    Blade: Treet carbon SE
    Brush: Omega 10810 boar
    Lather: Stirling Sandalwood
Post: Pinaud clubman, Target hand lotion

First time using these Treets. Not a significant difference between these and the GEM stainless IMO maybe a tad sharper and less smooth but not enough for me to care either way. More burning from the sandalwood. Looks like I am going to have to trade this...

    Pre: Hot Shower
    Razor: Maggards MR1
    Blade: Red Personna
    Brush: Berkeley 46 in best
Soap: Pedal Pusher Fancies River Rum
Post: Alum, Suavecito Bay Rum, AoS Lemon ASB

1st shave with the Maggard Razor. No complaints, it seems promising. The PPF River Rum was too much for me though. Started burning during the first pass. By the time i was done, two passes and touch ups my face was unpleaseantly burning. No burn with my alum, so the I think the lather was slick and had good cushion, just the scent must of gotten to me. The Suavecito about put me over the edge with burn. Haha too much burn for me. Quickly used my ASB so soothe my face. 10 mins after I'm feeling good, but won't be using this soap again. Just not worth the burn.

    Today's shave.

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash, Sasquatch Golden Moss bath soap.
    Brush : Turkish #6 Brush.
    Razor : Fatip.
    Blade : Personna Lab.
    Soap : Razorock XXX sample.
Post : cold water rinse, Barbon AS.

I don't know what to make of this shave. The Fatip got me BBS in one and a half passes. I took my time and paid close attention to what I was doing. I knew if I didn't, I would have a miserable day. I went WTG and then ATG in some spots and XTG in other spots. This is my third shave with the Razorock XXX sample. It is seriously a great soap. It really protected my face while I used this extremely aggressive razor. That probably made a big difference. I then splashed on some Barbon AS and called it good. So far, so good. No irritation and no painful areas on my face. Let's hope it stays this way.

I saw both of them at Mr-Razor and guessed mine was the Sheraton but I didn't know if Mr-Razor's website is exhaustive of all the models Gillette offered. Any idea how rare they are?

Pretty rare. I don't know specifics, but I think they were the last of an era and kind of beginning to another. Gary should be along any minute to back me up.

This razor just amazes me, not as smooth as usual however I wasn't using a Feather, thought I'd give some SC's a shot at the title and they aren't winning. Not bad but just not as good as the tiny steel lightsabers are. This is definitely a mild razor but very efficient - I love it and it's had me ignoring my Gillettes since it arrived. UH OH.

Glad your lovin' the XXX ryan! I don't think I have used it since I sent it to you. I may need to break it out tomorrow morning!

It's wicked awesome. I have to buy some for myself. I still have quite a few shaves left on the sample considering how little is needed to have a plentiful lather.
