Ahhhhhh, this shave was so frigid and enjoyable from start to finish - the Palmolive Cool cream which is marketed for the Balkan countries is just as strongly-mentholated as the Italian version with the same awesome lather and scent. The cooling sensation begins as soon as the brush makes contact with your skin. I cannot stop loving the Diana Sport/Rubby Dubby combination! ;) :D

Prep: Brush soaked in warm water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
Razor: Gillette Tech mounted to Matador Toro Mastif Corto Handle
Blade: Astra SP (3) switched to Personna Med Prep (1)
Brush: GDCarrington Maple Apple Handle with Ace Shaving 22mm High Density Silvertip
    Cream: TOBS Jermyn Street Cream
    AS: Skin Bracer Spice
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

First off I would like to thank my buddy Todd for sending me the TOBS samples and the Skin Bracer Spice. Anyone that knows me knows that I am FRUGAL with a capital F. I would much rather purchase a few tubs of product than buy one tub of expensive cream (or so I thought).

I now know why TOBS gets so much love, this stuff is amazing. The lather was splendid, the scent was very complex, more like a fine cologne and the protection is second to none. I will definitely be purchasing this scent, along with some others once my current levels of soaps and creams are low.

The Skin Bracer Spice was everything I remember and then some. To my nose this is one of the best spice scent around as it stands out as something unique, not a copy of Old Spice. It is too bad that the prices on the 'bay are outrageous for it. I will need to look around the thrift shops to see what I can find.

I now recall why I did not like Astra's. Today is the third use of this blade and into the first pass there was a lot of tugging and pulling. Life is too short and blades are too cheap to tolerate a bad shave, so I switched blades to a Personna Med Prep. I know that many guys love Astra SP's, but for me, I cannot get more than two decent shaves from them.

Excellent two pass DFS! My Semogue and Omega are starting to define themselves. Different with each having strengths and weakness. True complements. One thing is for certain ... the Semogue loads MWF like a monster ... check the pic out!

Prep: Shower, TBS Tea Tree Face Wash.
    Brush: Vulfix Burlington.
Razor: '59 Ball End Tech- Made in Argentina.
    Blade: Personna Lab.
    Soap: Mike's Natural-Barbershop.
Post: Cold water rinse, Thayer's WH Rose, Floid Blue-first time use.

Well, this is the first time I've had a real shave in almost 4 weeks. I have kept the stubble and just trimmed it since I was on vacation. This shave was perfect for me. The Floid Blue is really something else. I usually don't use splashes because the alcohol usually does more damage than good. But today I said screw it and finally tried it. I splashed some on my hand, rubbed them together, and patted it on my face expecting a very uncomfortable sting. I exhaled in relief as I felt no sting. Just a nice cooling down effect.

Veli, the Barbon cream is wonderful, however it's unusual because it seems to leave the face almost completely frozen and numb after a shave. It's the only cream I have which prevents me from feeling the pain of a cut or a nick. :)

Wow, what a freeze this Arko Ice Mint cream delivers with terrific lather and skincare, and the Svoboda balsam is pretty chilly and soothing also. The Max Refreshing aftershave is colder than Aqua Velva or Mennen Skin Bracer put together. Today's shave was a delight! ;) :D
