A re-visit to the Rapira S/S blades proved that they just don't seem to be as smooth for me as the Rapira Platinum Lux , so I knocked a half a blade off of todays shave for it.

Otherwise it was a frosty, chilly, completely awesome shave today. 4.5 Blades!

Amazinging...A shining polished BBS...It took twice as long, with one extra pass, maybe a slight touch of pink here and there where I made certain to get injector close, and a little sting when I splashed on the AS, but the end result did hold its own with the Schick...Man I'm lucky to have these great kits...
Tomorrow it will be interesting to go back to the Schick and see if it can hold its own with this...LOL

4 pass shave = a DFS Have a tiny amount of stubble just under the chin, but didn't dare go after it in fear of weepers. Sometimes you just gotta know when to fold em.

Tried blade bluffing for the first time. But still can feel some stubbles under the chin at the end of the shave. Got to further improve on the technique. Got my first weeper today.:ashamed001

My last several shaves have been with Queen Charlotte (QCS) Cream Soap (Croap) and lemme tell Ya; this is a very nice product. The scents are great, the shaves are great, the tallow probably is part of the great shave, and it takes so darn little amount of product to produce a fantastic lather. I am ashamed of myself for earlier bashing the vendor's shipping costs and refusing to try the product because of it. I know see that I nearly missed out on a great product.
