    A Bay Rum Sunday morning shave:

    Stirling Pre-Shave Soap :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
    Krampert's Bay Rum SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055::love055:
    Krampert's Bay Rum AS :love055: :love055::love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:

    I have used a lot of different bay rum-scented soaps and aftershaves, but to me there are none which smell as nice as Brian's. The scent is so intoxicating, the soap lathers like there's no tomorrow and gives great blade glide and wonderful skincare. The matching aftershave is exactly how it was described - it makes the skin feel fantastic from its moisturizing and soothing. My Astra blade is getting kind of tired, but I'm sure it'll give me one last good shave before it goes into retirement! ;) :D

    How will you make it through the day without all the menthol you normally use?!?! Your menthol shaves and love of "the freeze" always makes me smile.

    Perry, wait until you see what I have planned for Menthol Monday! ;)

    I can't wait! My menthol exposure so far is C.O. Bigelow cream. I have some menthol additive on order from TSD and hope to add it to my witch hazel to make a little cooling post shave splash.

    Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
    Razor - GEM Micromatic Clog Pruf
    Blade - Personna GEM SE Stainless (#5)
    Brush - Omega 20106
    Soap - Vitos Green
    After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
    Result - BBS

    There's always some trepidation when trying a new soap for the first time. While lathering it, I had a good idea there were no worries with the Vitos. There's a lot, and I mean A LOT of cushioning and lubrication. It's as close to Mitchell's Wool Fat as I've tried. Post-shave feel is very good, in fact it's a perfect match for an SE.
    I'm sticking with the Clog Pruf to the months end, but as good as the shaves have been, there's also been a downside - a lot less of them! The shaves are just so close that I'm not getting my toy box out to play as often as I'd like.

    Razorock Classic Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #40 Black Badger
    AutoStrop VB1
    Feather SE
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

    The Razorock Classic Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #40 Black Badger brush. Two passes with my Valet AutoStrop razor and a Feather SS blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Saturdays Shave. A late post of today`s shave.
    This was my first shave with my new to me Eclipse Red Ring. What a magnificent razor. I loaded it with a new Astra SP, and face lathered Arko stick with the Omega 10083 professional. I tightened the razor down all the way and started the shave. I was very mild so I backed off two stops and found it to be aggressive but rough. I turned it back one notch and found the sweet spot. It was a great shave with no irritation. After one shave, this razor has moved into the top spot of all my DE razors.
