I have a half bottle left. I haven’t used it since summer. I much prefer the Brisk. If I ever find out that will be discontinued; I’ll buy every bottle on the shelf!

I reached out to Barbasol last September about the Pacific Rush After Shave (they still produce the PR Shaving Cream) to ask about it... this is the email I got from their customer response team. I posted it a few months ago on a separate thread.

    "Dear Dan,

Thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, we no longer produce Barbasol Pacific Rush After Shave; however, our Barbasol Brisk After Shave is available at Dollar General and Dollar Tree stores. Availability may vary by location.

We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage you to visit www.Barbasol.com for a full list of Barbasol products. Again, thank you for reaching out to us here at Barbasol. We sincerely hope this information is helpful!

    Have a great day,

    Sean F.

So for those who did not know, or were uncertain if PR AS was discontinued.... here's the answer. Let the HOARDING begin!

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20180131_152912.jpg

    Prep: Occams Crushed Lime
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Gillette Black
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Grooming Dept- Conca D'Oro
    Post: T&S Classic A/S

Nice refreshing shave this evening. The scent of this soap really opened up big time once lathered, could smell it thru the whole house. Excellent take on the classic orange scent, but is unique enough to stand on its own. Incredible performance as well. Did end up with some irritation on neckline but other than that it was a enjoyable shave. Finished off with T&S Classic. Hope everyone had a great shave!

    Hi folks, today's SOTD-

Today's shave was done with a 1953 Gillette Canada Military Tech set. It is one of my favorite Tech sets. It was NOS when I first got it. I have probably used it 50 or 60 times in the last two years. It gives a great shave. God Bless, and have a great day!

    Pre: Warm water face wash
    Brush: Vie-Long 13052 Horse
    Soap: Stirling Sandalwood
    Razor: Blackland Sabre L2
    Blade: Gem Blue Star
Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Stirling Sandalwood PSB

Well at long last I've tried the L2 plate and my worries about it losing some of it smoothness and manoeuvrability were swept away after a few strokes.
This thing zips across your face like an Olympic ice skater, leaving a surface as smooth as an ice rink in its wake.
Helped along its way by the smashing Stirling lather, which as usual, was as slick as a Teddy Boy's quiff.*

*This simile probably doesn't mean anything on your side of the pond but I don't know the equivalent. Greaser? Rocker!
