    A lovely Saturday Morning shave with a 'Face Feeling' result. I really enjoy the scent of the P&B Obsidian soap so had a full 3 passes ..... even though it was not required.

    Again shave with 0.5 mm gap.
    Same as yesterday, so: comfortable shave with DFS+ result.

    Razor: Maggard V2 Open Comb
    Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (10)
    Brush: Ever-Ready 50R/TGN Premium Silvertip-20mmx55mm
    Aftershave: Country Club Highlands

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Ever-Ready 50R/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Perma-Sharp Super still in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Highlands aftershave.

    Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Arthur's Bay Rum ASL

    Many thanks to Arthur (a British forum member) for letting me try the Contour and for the very generous sample of his homemade Bay Rum.
    I found the Contour a bit mild and I'm a little tender in places from going over them too many times but I was like that with the Pushbutton until I dialed it in.
    The Bay Rum on the other hand is an instant success. It starts off quite alcoholic and then the bay and spices come through, very impressed indeed.

    My prep was just a cold water rinse. The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #331 boar brush. I did two passes with the Wade & Butcher 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
