My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a GEM Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hey Brit-Use a blow dryer. That should loosen things up. Sounds funny, but it works.

Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville
Razor: Gillette Fat Boy
Blade: Vintage Schick Plus Platinum (2)
Brush: Thater Silvertip-26mmx55mm
Aftershave: Bentley Intense

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Barrister & Mann Seville today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather Vintage Schick Plus Platinum in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bentley Intense aftershave.

Thursday’s shave:

A very good, smooth shave but the Rapira needs to be replaced. I can’t complain because it owes me nothing - it performed very well for this week. I personally think this Roseline soap has the nicest rosy scent I ever experienced - in fact even my wife says it smells very manly and I agree with her. It sure lathers like a dream just like every South African soap I have. For anyone who has sensitive skin this Fino balm is a godsend. It’s unscented and so soothing. The Musgo aftershave to me, smells lovely.

The Scent is Dragons Blood, Sandalwood & Oud mainly. Scent strength off the puck is strong and stays very strong when lathered. It’s a wonderful scent very similar to THBs Tell Tale Heart but slightly different with a more spiced version of it. The staying power is also incredible, the stink will stay will you for most of the day. The aftershave is very nice it is alcohol based but does not provide too much sting. Either that or I got a really good shave. This is a perfect fall winter scent as it’s very dark and woodsy. I Find the aftershave provides a bit of a heating sensation but not irritation. This soap is actually wonderful and I do very much enjoy it.

Love the E3! It's my best injector and gives terrific shaves. My face is very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

 

Claudio's 85mm handle on the aluminum Gibbs yields 69g and a balance point a little south of optimum but still a great alternative. Set on 5 today and felt great.

 

Tim. This is inerstin' the edp. Totally different vibe than the edt. None, i mean none of that gasoline-tar you get with the edt. A lot of gents like that palette, i opted for the edp which is devoid of the hydrocarbons. And unfortunately americans can't get the edp anymore. It is only sold in Europe. I bought some in dublin. It is really boozy and sweet, violet still there. Probably my favorite cold weather designer frag. Worth a try I think. Projects and lasts 18 hours. Really a beast.
