Well, I woke up a little later than I was planning... So I had to shave a little quicker than I normally would. The Gillette Atra with personna twin pivot plus blades worked like a charm. The AOS lemon soap lathered beautifully. My wife was happy feeling my face this morning and so was I .

Well how about that...a real EEEvs St. Laurent.

 

My arrival home yesterday coincided with the arrival of my first Damascus straight. It only provided a DFS today, as it could stand to be a lot sharper, but hopefully that shouldn’t be hard to achieve. Regardless, since this has been a week of fancy pants shaves out of the fancy pants soap dish at my fancy pants convention hotel, I decided it was the day to shave with some of my classiest gear at home to help make my transition back to the real world a bit less bumpy.

A nod to our Scottish Colleagues as tonight is Burns Night. I am on night shift tonight with a 'Bonnie wee Lassie' from Scotland. Due to difficulty in sourcing alcohol free Whisky and Vegetarian Haggis.....the height of our celebration may be dancing round crossed penknives.
My first use of the Wee Scot. I have had it for years but never took it seriously enough to use it until today. Most definitely up to the task....but not something I would reach for very often.
2 passes with a touch up for a perfect shave.

 

Senator/Treet Platinum. Very enjoyable, a bit more work on the back of my head than I'd like but it gets where I need to go.
