Pre: Hot Shower and Neutrogena face wash
Brush: 26mm Maggards synthetic in custom handle
Razor: WSC Toothsome head with stainless handle
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Empress Rising
    Balm: Nivea cooling Balm
    AS: Stirling Scarn

This was my first trip around the block with this razor as well as my first time using an open comb razor. I have to say I am impressed on both accounts. This razor has plenty of weight to it which makes it much easier for me to not apply extra unneeded pressure. Paired with the 7 O'clock Super Platinum blade, I got a three pass DFS/BBS.

The soap is new to me as well and I wasn't sure what to expect because of the emphasis on the rose scent in the description but it was fairly faint and quite pleasant and it lathered really well. It certainly provided an ample amount of cushion and slickness. Plus it has really cool artwork on the label.

Here's kind of a "backdoor" Throwback Thursday(not completely though):

**-Without the work of Monsieur Edouard Pinaud that began in 1830, we wouldn't have this "new"product.
