Parker adjustable injector, Schick injector blade, shave 8

Razor set at 5. Shave was close but on the wrong side of the BBS fence. Blade should have lasted at least 10 shaves before it dropped off which highlights the major shortcoming of this razor. It is too mild exposure wise else the blade should have lasted longer which the Schicks do for me in other mild injectors.

Final thoughts it is a great razor even with it's shortcomings for someone new to injectors and don't like to use D.P.R. (Dead People's Razors) in the sub $75 realm coming in at $32 with blades as of this posting. Just make sure if it isn't performing to expectations even after dialing it up to 5 to also use a Schick blade in it besides the Personna blades it comes with. A sharper blade will increase the performance for that reason alone as I can attest to.

It has been many days since my last shave, and this German razor made short work of the whiskers. I had a nice 2 pass shave, that left me BBS, with a minor touch-up. Zero issues.

    Razor- J.A.Henkels Twin Works. "Friodur"
Brush- RazoRock 400. High Mountain Badger knot.
    Soap- AOS "OUD". Fantastic scent.
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. The Admiral decanter.

    Greetings,

    (Open Comb DE Razor Week)

First Face & head shave of 2021.

After the long run with the Yaqi Katana razor i've decided to give my open comb razors a run out to start the new year off in style... Starting off with the assertive semi-open comb Muhle R41 paired together with the Tiger Platinum blade which was another great match mowing through my stubble with effortless ease....I have mentioned before in my past postings what a wonderful efficient razor the R41 is now that i have vastly improved my technique & gained my shaving confidence when shaving with this wonderful assertive Fräulein...A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable /near BBS shave with no errors to report.

My intended plan for 2021 , is to carry on adding soft & hardware items to my SOTD set ups that i haven't gave much attention to in the past and to try and curb my urges and make 'NO MORE' impulsive shaving related buying bouts this year. 'I always say the same thing,' but i'm going to do my best...with a few exceptions such as my birthday or if i really need it, which at this present moment in time i don't, so that'll be it for a good few months at least.
I've said this umteenth times "i've got what i need, not what i want"....I'm going try to keep to my word and start to appreciate more, and use up what i already have in my humble shaving den. Enough of my babble...
Having a vast variety of something isn't always a good thing, you can't appreciate it enough.

A wonderful shave to start the year off in style...Wishing you all good health peace, happiness and contentedness for 2021....Finishing the shave off with small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the first weekend of 2021 ladies & gentlemen.

A bleah night: I woke up at 3 and watched some documentaries.
I wonder why they let experts speak when they are boring and soporific: couldn't they just write the text and have it dubbed by an actor?

A bleah day: too clear to be pleasant.
    And a bleah photo!

But an excellent shave on a minimal growth: the albionic machine is very mild and the soap excellent, even in the post shave.

The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Henry Taylor straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EdC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Minora day 8
    Bundubeard Shark Dive SS
    L’Oreal Men Expert Moisturizer
    Musgo Real Classic AS Splash

These Minora blades are absolutely awesome blades - this one was on its eighth day and it’s still performing like a champ. Jaco’s Shark Dive soap really grew on me - when I first smelled it I was sort of put off by the scent but now I really enjoy it. The lather is so thick, rich, and slick, the blade glide is terrific, and the skincare is super. The L’Oreal Men Expert moisturizer works perfectly as a balm, and the Musgo Real aftershave smells lovely. Another picture perfect BBS shave!

    Be well and safe!
