Razor: Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm- Mfg 2021> excellent tame mid range, Very enjoyable carefree shave this morning, good design, small head parts can make it difficult to assemble, work over a wash cloth makes life a whole lot better for assembly, excellent daily driver for most folks IMO.
Blade: Feather pro AC- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. 1st shave with this blade is awesome usually.
Soap: Yaqi Green sample croap- nice mild fresh scent, excellent lather qualities. I think it is a good soap for 1st use.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Dandelion cashmere knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturising lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Feather AC professional.

ABC~~Rubberset 400/3~~RR GC/Light Brigade (8)~~Burt's Bees Bay Rum
Normally, I don't shave, when I do not enough time to enjoy it, but I made an exception today.
The Rubberset can make a great lather out of any soap, with the possible exception of Dominica Bay Rum shave soap,
and it performed admirably, digging out a goodly amount of the "upscale Cella"
Went right to the face and with the Game Changer .84 OC (I have dubbed it the Wolfman Killer), loaded with the same Light Brigade, performed a two-pass shave WTG/ATG and was quite pleased with the results.
The Wilkinson Chromium, because of its scarcity and cult status, sees little use in my den. However, when I load one,
I can expect to get between 25-30 shaves, and I am not one that regularly pushes a blade beyond its limits.
Burt's Bees Bay Rum is a favorite of mine, but if you peruse the 5-6 reviews on basenotes.net you will see they are mixed, either loving it, as I do, or abhorring it. That's the nature of the beast.

My new jar of Baume.be arrived today just before my shave. Thanks @b1hart - it’s everything you said it would be - and maybe more. I’d like it even better if they offered a lavender scent and made the tub just a bit wider but the shave it enabled was nothing short of superb. This razor has given me more shaves than any in my collection (I learned on it) and today was undoubtedly the best ever. Was it the shaving cream? I don’t know but it sure felt great.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Classic soap bowl.
Blade: Treet Classic. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Wilko Men's Moisturiser./blue Stratos EdT.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

A near Wilkinson Sword themed shave...The Inexpensive WS classic is a mild razor which is a good every day/newbie shaver. The two piece design of the razor makes it easy to load the blade, covering the full blade with no exposure of the blade edges, which is brilliant for shaving sensitive area without the risk of getting Cuts & nicks from the blade ends...The Blade gap is considerably smaller than the newer WS premium TTO, but still gives an acceptable presentable shave....The razor/ Treet classic blade combo performed well together.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of blue Stratos EdT to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

here is my shave which ended moments ago.


Razor: PILS 104 NE // Blade: Satinex 2000 Platinum Plus // Soap: Santa Maria Novella // Brush: Jannik W Synthetic // Aftershave: Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano (sample)

First time using the SMN. Will it be as great as all they’ve used say? Oh yes…it has a lovely scent, the lather is fantastic. It can take a decent amount of water. With the right amount the glide is fantastic.

The PILS had no problems whatsoever. Glided through the whiskers that it was a pure joy. Only the blade has not been the best I’ve used in the razor. Smooth and gentle but there are blades which are more thoroughly. But no complaints here.

How is the brush will you ask? One of THE best I have in my den. It has a 26mm Turn’n’Shave Quartermoon which is absolutely brilliant. Soft tips, splaying is great and whipping up a great lather is so nice with it.

As Aftershave I’ve used a sample which I ordered with the soap. The scent is definitely one the best I smelled so far. Elegant, manly with green Tobacco notes and a slight “smokiness” in the back. Wow…

I’m enjoying the shave as you may read…
