Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.1) with Cedarwood & Patchouli.
Blade: Sunny Supreme Stainless. ( D1)
Razor: Merkur 34c.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cien X-Bolt ASL./L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

Early morning return to work shave,

Since my reacquaintance with the Merkur 34c. i have been having some excellent shaves paired together with a fresh Sunny SS blade made my shave this morning a pleasant experience.
A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Apparently this Kent is exactly the same soap as the Mitchell’s Wool Fat - except for the name and the fact that it doesn’t burn or irritate my face the way the MWF did so I’m welcoming it into my rotation. I received it as a gift from my father in law recently and I really enjoyed it a lot today. The scent is mild but pleasant, the lather works up perfectly, and the skincare is pretty good. The Nivea Sensitive balm delivered great on the moisturizing and soothing while Fernando’s Dark Blue aftershave left me smelling so nice. The Gillette Platinum blade is retired after two weeks of faithful service - today’s shave was excellent.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Taipan 3D SE Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Nice 3 passer, but the 77 needs a trip to the pasted leather strops, CrOx on linen and leather stropping didn't keep it from being tuggy/irritating on the XTG neck clean up pass. If the pasted strops don't fix it....guess it's time to dig the hone setup out of hiding.

 

Focus Tritok Concave safety razor.
Astra SP blade (fresh)
Razorock 400 Plissoft synthetic brush.
Razorock P160 shave soap.
Timeless shave bowl.
Royal Copenhagen cologne.

First run with the Focus Concave. It is definitely more aggressive than the flat top and delivers and excellent shave. Three very nice passes with one weeper. It is a smooth shaver and I just need to get it dialed in. It is definitely a keeper.

ASRazor shave, Tue, Jan 4th, 2021

Razor: Everready 1924,(AKA shovel head)- mfg 1924-33, mid range, well constructed razor, loads from the back, usually a enjoyable shave. Handle is from a Eveready Streamliner strop, great grip and just works well with this razor.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(7)- very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream, pleasant mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm lucky dice Tuxedo knot+ Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavada AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Everready 1924 with a coated Gem.
