The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Damaskeene OC Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Beautiful citrusy scented icicles in my face from the Glacial Citron soap and aftershave - I enjoyed it so much. The soap lathered like a champ thanks to my gorgeous Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic, the lather was so rich, creamy, mega slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation hit me like a ton of frigid bricks, and the skincare was superb. The massage with the Prep felt heavenly, and the Glacial Citron aftershave gave me its lovely scent with an additional two boatloads of frigid menthol. Finally a little Aramis and I’m good to go. Another awesome three pass BBS shave that was such joy!

well, that was a mixed shave... the lather was exemplary, as usual... but I really didn't like the Permasharp/Weber combo, as everything was fine until I went ATG, and then it became unbearable. a shame, that.

1st outing with the LaToja and it was nice. Lathered easily with the monster sized Maison Lambert brush and worked well with plenty of protection. The Maison Lambert brush is huge but oh so soft and nice on the face. A really fine shave was had and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Razor : Micromatic Clog Pruf (peerless model), Mfg 1945-46, mid range, well built (all brass)to last generations with some care, very enjoyable close shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood, nice rich herbal sandal wood cream with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Barber pole"24mm 2 band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + great lather painter. Great handle + very enjoyable brush!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso red Sandalwood with witch hazel + a dollop of Geo F Trumper sandal wood skin food.
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Gem Clog Pruf with a coated Gem blade.

The Ladas isn’t getting a 3rd day. Didn’t enjoy it on 48 hrs growth. It and the Merkur failed the neglected blade trials. Many others were better than I remember 4,5,6 years ago, but those two aren’t worth keeping even for a shave apocalypse.

An acceptable performance from the WS Sword Premium TTO, paired together with the Treet classic feeling smooth and efficient.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
