    Tuesday morning:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Junjie/Astra Green day 14
    Brick SS
    Proraso Blue ASB
    Italian Barber Amici AS Splash
    Fahrenheit EdT

My second time using this Brick soap and I think it’s lovely. It’s a house brand from a Dutch barber who seems to prefer keeping it for his own use or for shaving his customers. I wish he would put it on the market because it has so much going for it - the scent is mild, classy, and clean, it lathers so beautifully, it has lots of slickness as well as a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm is also very moisturizing and soothing, while the Amici aftershave’s scent is so nice but it doesn’t clash with the Fahrenheit eau de toilette, and it gives a mild menthol sensation. This Astra Green blade is pretty much at the end of the road but it still gave me one last hoorah with a terrific three pass BBS shave that was so pleasurable!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Tabac Shaving Soap
    Tom's Brush B-3 Badger
    Brass TAR by Tom
    Nacet Stainless
    Humphrey's Witch Hazel

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's Brush B-3 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Brass TAR by Tom and the Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Preshave: Hot shower
    Soap: Cremo Original
    Brush: None
    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89
    Blade: Voskhod
    Post shave: Gillette Gel

The Voskhod is The Blade I Want To Love. I love the packaging, the cool Cyrillic writing on the little envelope and the blade itself. And it has a great reputation. This is only the second one I've tried but so far I find its performance underwhelming. It seems to irritate my jawline, which is my toughest area to shave. I'll continue to give it a try but I'm falling out of love quickly.

I understand. I have tried Voskhod blades several times and could never get a comfortable shave from them. I know some people like them, but they just don't work for me.
