Here my Shave of the Day (10.01.2024)


Pre: Grooming Dept unscented // Razor: Supply SE // Blade: Personna Injector // Soap: PannaCrema Vetiver // Brush: PAA Phantom Aerolite // Aftershave: Pitralon Polar

Another great shave. I was fully in mood for the Supply SE razor as well as the PannaCrema soap. Razor was very smooth and gentle.

Sad that the old formulation of PannaCrema has gone. Such a wonderful soap base. Lather and skincare are outstanding. The PAA Brush had fun lathering the soap.

A healthy amount of the Pitralon Polar to end the shave. Cooling and moisturizing. Good stuff.

10 out of 10.

Wednesday Shave

Lather: Sterling Unscented with Beeswax
Brush: Ever Ready
Razor: Henson V2 mild (Dr Squatch edition)
Blade: Suneko Platinum
Post: Sterling Unscented Aftershave balm

First shave with the new Dr Squatch edition Henson. First shave also with a Suneko Platinum blade (thank you @SDK !). The razor, of course, performed exactly the same as my silver Henson V2 mild, except for being green.

First impression of the Suneko blade is favorable: it is a sharp blade, but not too sharp, and smooth. I got an excellent result without the burn from a blade that's too sharp. Now that I have two matching Henson razors, I will plan on side by side comparisons of Suneko against other blades that are more familiar.

Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Gillette Sensitive Shave foam.
Blade: Super Shave X Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Jagen David B30.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Denim Original ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

It's been a while since I last used the Gillette Sensitive foam which provided me with an acceptable lather in a very short space of time.

The post shave was very acceptable with no dryness or irritation to my skin. I'll be honest, I didn't expect a canned shave foam to give such good results. Mixing the foam in the bowl with the synthetic brush and additional water was the key to it's performance, without it the shave foam doesn't have adequate slickness & glide.

The Jagen David B30 is another super-speed clone razor. It's Smooth manoeuvrable , and surprisingly efficient paired together with the Super Shave X Platinum on it's second use feeling very smooth & efficient. Another great razor & blade duo.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.
