Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze:<br /><br />L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash <br />Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole <br />Wilkinson Sword/Derby day 4<br />MSC Frosted Lavender SS<br />Thayer’s Lavender Witch Hazel <br />Gold Bond Moisturizer <br />MSC Frosted Lavender AS Splash <br />Aramis EdT<br /><br />Damn, am I ever frozen stiff from this setup - my brother Fernando is a true blue Grand Master of soaps and aftershaves. His Frosted Lavender has the most GORGEOUS lavender scent I ever experienced, the soap’s tallow formula promotes such thick, rich, creamy, super slick lather, the menthol sensation is off the charts to the point that it’s a match for any of the Stirling Glacials, and the skincare is numero uno. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel has very little scent to it but it’s very soothing, the Gold Bond moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave has the same beautiful scent as the soap along with a menthol sensation that can flatten a polar bear. Finally the lovely Aramis fragrance completed the job. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Variant Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here my last shave of January (31.01.2024)


Pre: Aloe Vera Gel // Razor: Mühle Rocca Birch // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: MSC Tabacchi // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Marbert Man Classic

Again a fantastic shave. Did i told you how much i love the Mühle Rocca? It was love on the second sight but maaaaan….this razor is fantastic. So smooth and gentle with great audible feedback. Lovely.

The rest? Classic stuff…the soap smells like Tobacco and Vanilla, lathers up extremely well so my Shavemac had absolutely no problems.

The Marbert Man Classic has this classic scent…very masculine but fresh in the same way. Woodsy, spicy with an elegant understatement. Love this scent.

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72 316 SSP- Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC for my shaving needs. One of my favorite DE razors that checks most of the boxes for enjoyable shaving. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Perma-sharp(3) sharp and smooth + good longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX , nice unique clean scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. This looks like a chubby when it has bloomed, nice brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Razorock Lupo.72 with a Perma-sharp blade.
