The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #458 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Goodwill Razor razor and the PolSilver DE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

An hour or so was when I shaved and I can still feel a cold tingle on my face - the Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave did one helluva number on me. The scent is so beautiful, the soap provided tons of awesome lather that was so thick, rich, mega slick and protective, the menthol sensation felt borderline painful, (in a good way of course!) not to mention how comfortable the postshave feeling was. The Stoffel balm is so moisturizing as well as soothing, it’s also icy cold, and the Glacial Cedar aftershave went on frigidly cold. I transplanted the Wilkinson blade into my Super Speed because the Junjie was too harsh yesterday and the results were a wonderful three pass BBS with no issues whatsoever!

ASRazor shave, MMMonday, 2025

Razor : Ever-Ready 1924(AKA- Shovel head). Mfg 1924-33, mid range. It works well and was very popular because the length of production run, I like to use a Rigs shim in this razor for great smooother results.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) Very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock The Dead Sea croap, very enjoyable scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band badger. Nice badger brush with a large bloom(Cubby).
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Ever-Ready 1924 shovelhead with a coated Gem blade. My Ever-Readys are slightly more aggressive (Mid range) than most of my Gem Razors, not complaining just observing.

Early morning shave,

It's been some time since I used the Razorock "WTP?!" soap and forgot it takes a bit more time to build a lather, which for me isn't a big issue I find after the soap has been bloomed in tepid tap water for few minutes I'm rewarded with a rich, creamy slick protective lather with a good post shave feel.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Wilco Men's Moisturiser.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.
